Ohhh the party has just started.

Just wait till the manager is appointed! The Dundee fans that don't care about St Johnstone will be all over the thread like they were on Sunday & no matter who they choose I can't see everyone being universally supportive of it amoungst out support either that'll no doubt cause some debate, especially if it's a left field or "safe" appointment!

St Johnstone’s my wee team. Hope you’s stay but not at our expense.

It’s going to be Scott Brown. That’s your level.

    Thank you.

Has Lewis even played a single minute yet? I would of expected him to at least made some sort of impact considering his background.

Maybe just hard to break into the team on our v decent run at the moment.

That under 23 league down south looks like it’s very much hit and miss playerwise. 1 thing for certain, Owen Beck is a star.

Yeah his recruitment has been brilliant. Portales is some find in particular. He just oozes class. I wasn’t sure when I saw his debut but since coming back in against Hibs away he’s been class.

He’s definitely better on the right of a back 3 than the left where he 1st come into the side.

Good on the ball and the timing of his tackles.

  4. Sounds to me it’s more a group of people doing the recruitment rather than just the manager with the manager having the final say.

Whatever’s changed, it’s greatly improved our recruitment.

We’ve got good options across the defence and midfield now if and when suspensions and injuries creep in. The standard will remain the same rather than the usual huge drop.

Is it time to be trying to sign Boateng permanently?

Said last week McGhee is no better up that wing  than Cammy , and I’d have to look back but I’m pretty sure it was you said no , and asked for the amount of assists from Cammy , now I know Cammy is not the answer but he’s a better option than Jordon , hopefully in January Doc can pick up a better than average right back , then we could have Cammy as back up , and hopefully move on McGhee as I can’t see him replacing the current centre halves either

Like mentioned above an injury free Tyler French is the answer with Mulligan another really good option. The performances of Portales, Shaughnessey, Lamie/Donnelly allow us the more attacking options.

Spot on. With all the changes I don’t actually think the Doc’s worked out our best team yet either. Great to have Tiffoney back, Bakayoko looked much more like himself, young Donnelly got 90 minutes and defo didn’t look out of place but for me, Shaughnessy and Carson are the beginning and end of our improvement - they’re superb.

    Those 2 really are.

I might be accused of putting a dampener on what's probably a good sign but is anyone else concerned with how the board are doing (outside of the team) and the stuff dee4life have been putting out? I read Bennett wasn't going to sell the stadium to anyone but the fans but now not only is it not sold to the fans or the club it's sold to our owners business. Hopefully they actually do get an application in soon.

Bit pedantic I think. The business that owns the club has bought the ground back.

John Bennett though, what a guy!

I can understand why some are saying they thought it was a red but I totally agree with you.
I’m surprised that more has not been said about the penalty - Bakayoko was less than 2 feet away.
I guess over the season a few decisions will go our way.

We got a soft penalty at St Mirren. Missed it right enough.

I was lucky enough to see him playing in that strip and the V neck the season before. The film clip is before my time but he scores Scotland’s second goal in 4-1 away win over Austria in 1955. Crowd got a bit upset in this one. Tommy Younger and Lawrie Reilly also playing.

Spotted Smith getting hooked by a fan in the wee brawl. Austrian c***s!
