Just over a year ago, my house burnt down, we were all out at work but my dog & cats were locked in & died.
The damage was that bad it took nearly a year before we could move back in.
I run the disability teams at Spartans community football academy & I film the Lowland League games, so Spartans set up a fund to help us get back on our feet, we only had the clothes we stood up in on that day,. The fund went mad, loads of donations came in something like £10,000.
Well after we got kitted out an stuff, there was plenty money left over, we weren't sure what the insurance folk where going to be like so we kept plenty back but the insurance where great.
But rather than me keeping my big mouth shut I happened to mention what we were doing with the left-over money. This annoyed some folk on here, not the ones that had donated just the ones that don't much like me, so with the bee in their collective Bunnets they went to great lengths to make out the fire was an inside job.
That's it in a nutshell, I'm sure others will paint it differently.

I found a football in my garage today. It's a 90s mitre with the 3lions I can't see it anywhere only so must be very rare and valuable:D

Leblanc was decent, I think he would work better with someone that doesn't jump around like a excited puppy on speed. Maybe a James May type. Evans was horrendous the we've got custody bit was enough for me. I used to only really like the top gear specials because it did become a little stale but this is by far the worst I've seen EVER. Leblanc and the new star in the reasonably priced car are the only positives.

Run to and from work, I have a pain going from the inside of my ankle half way up my shin. The outside of the same leg is tight.
I'm now away to play Hitman.
If it's a sharp pain it might be shin splints. They are brutal I cried when I had them once.

I got two letters through the door today, one offering me the chance to donate money to God and the other with a tax rebate of £400.

Just went for a meal. Drove home, turned off the car then realised the person in front of me was about to move so went to start up my car again the get a better spot.
Car didnt start and its lost all compression.
I've a 14 year old BMW.
My week has just turned to complete and utter shit as I just spent money on a holiday and I'm entirely certain my VANOS unit has failed and caused the timing to jump, meaning its virtually an engine rebuild with new VANOS units required, which is an obscene price even though I'll be doing all my own labour.
Get a new car.

If anyone is interested...the BBC has published a UK Eurovision quiz - Having spent a few years watching (mainly when Terry Wogan was the host), I thought I may do quite well....scored 3/10 and, on balance, I'm quite happy to say that I only knew 1 of them!

The state of some of the pavements in Edinburgh and Kirkcaldy is a disgrace, they should all be tarred over if the council can't keep the paving slabs from being trip hazards.
