  1. He'll be a danger off the bench, but pleased to see Wighton isn't starting.
  2. Ricky Foster spends more on his eyebrows than Dick Campbell spends on players. On fleek to a ludicrous degree.
  3. I think we'd collectively entered the dynamic of a poorly treated woman who's sending Facebook messages to their ex's new partner. Yeah, he seems nice and charming at the beginning when it's all passion and "spinning plates" but it's not long before his true colours shine through and he's going behind your back to try and get the Motherwell job. He'll never change doll x
  4. That is wild decision making. You'd think that when a team above you in the ladder phone up to enquire about a player - much like Arbroath did with Dowds, too - you'd have a second look at whether or not he might be able to do a job where he is.
  5. There's a clear case with Wighton that he has a lot of the necessary attributes to be successful at this level but struggles to put them all together with any sort of regularity. That said, to ask a very simplistic hypothetical, if he'd played every minute he's been available this season, would Dunfermline have scored more than 18 league goals? I think so.
  6. There's Keatings (and Coulson) confirmed on loan until the end of the season. A real pain that Keatings hasn't worked out. One way or another that's a two year deal's worth of wages in return for about 20 minutes of league football. I'm sure we'll end up negotiating his release in the close season, but unless he really picks up at Montrose he's not going to have a long list of decent suitors, and he's not going to be particularly motivated to walk away from his final full-time salary.
  7. Is there a chance that the Pars players look so good in training because their opposition are other Pars players?
  8. Arnott probably the one player you don't want that to fall to. That said, I'm sure if it was any other opposition he'd have buried it. We really need a deal with Baphomet to get three points from Inverness.
  9. Duku had one that was fairly tame and MacDonald took it easily enough. That's the only one I can think of.
  10. A lot of the short corner routines involve - in theory - a cross into the box. It's just that 70% of the time it doesn't get past the first man. At least with Tait gone we won't see that one where it gets cut back to him at the corner of the box for a whipped cross first time. We must've tried it six or seven times and I'm not sure it ever led to a chance, let alone a goal.
  11. You're not allowed to warn them about things. They're very sensitive about it.
  12. That's a real blow, he's been head and shoulders above the rest. Jamie Gullan getting a good 40 minutes to make an impact is the silver lining, I suppose, he hasn't had a huge amount of first team football recently.
  13. The master of the workhouse when he looks up and sees a trembling orphan approaching him with an empty bowl.
  14. Is that three shots already? Unheard of for us in the last couple of months. Maybe McGlynn has sold his soul...
  15. Yup, totally agree. He put a shoogly start to the season to bed with his goal at Kilmarnock, and he could do with another one here. In my eyes he's the weakest link in the usual starting pool, by quite some margin. I don't imagine McGlynn will be interested with Dick still having a year and a half on his contract, but I see there's talk that Sean Mackie is free to leave Hibs. I know we're not restricted to just signing former players, but he looks like the kind of big, physical full back that would do well in this kind of system.
  16. I'm looking forward to seeing this now, in about thirty yards square in the middle of the park. I hope you like tippy tappy triangles, Caley, because you're about to be passed to death! (It'll be the back three.)
