  1. i see the die has been cast unlike you to be so judgemental based on one game....
  2. he could play hippo up front harris on the left and jimmy c on the right. chance of that is zero though
  3. absolutely telt the day. proved what's been said all summer we need tp strengthen both the full back positions but hey if thats what weve got to play with then anyone with pace is going to cause problems. i hope taiwo is still recovering and thats why he didnt start as kerr wasnt at the races and should have been hooked at half time. in the second half i with loy absent we really needed sibbs. hooking fash and leaving shepps on was a bonkers decision. and surely watson should have went to RB and luca in the middle. and after doing it all summer harris never hit the bye line once. saints played really well and deserved the win think the players and manager believed the hype as much as the fans and were all like rabbits in the headlights.
  4. was it not a similar situation with pedro's return sandy paid for it but elvis wouldnt play him IIRC. maybe i was just blinded by my love for the guy
  5. think its going to be a cracking game tomorrow. finally a game against some decent opposition to give us a marker of how we look rather than the likes of ICT. reckon fash will stroll it with a hat trick, hippo to cap it all with a forward roll stick on pen. 2-2
  6. the tribulations of posting half canned made sense last night, i was meaning their posters on this forum, pish analogy i admit.
  7. Replacing hibs with ICT is like replacing hurricane Higgins with Steve Davis wonder who else is gonna step up to the plate this year apart from higgy and the fifers?
  8. gotta think that week in Budapest really did the boys the world of good in terms of fitness and camaraderie. as much as it was a shambles for the fans in terms of games, although probably not many moans for people that went out there, i think it has given us a massive head start.
  9. decent pre-season for you boys, you must looking forward to the year ahead. i hope its a feisty affair
  10. you may well be correct but for the bulk of the last two seasons he has played down the left. i would like to see him in the no 10 role in our new look team, he was after all iirc our top scorer last season so he is not all that merde. dont get me wrong both mckee and craigen are decent attacking players too and mark kerr when on form just bosses the midfield unfortunately last season he went through a bad patch so got shot down on here as you would expect from our drama queen support. oh and theres always tommy t. guess well see what with injuries and all that what combo works best
  11. he wasnt slow to jump off the jack ross express when the navy blue juggernaut rocked into town
  12. You got the fear mate he's gonna destroy your gang this season again
  13. just waiting to see sibbs and loy interlink will be f*cking immense
  14. and there was me thinking you were him. tomorrow is a long time, enjoy the seaside
  15. caught the radio on the way home no mention of sibbs or additions from houston
  16. its funny i was thinking that for a bit tonight, if only he could find the net. but tbh i dont care if he doesnt score all season the way he is playing at the moment is enough for me.
  17. thought we lacked harris' pace tonight down the right at times but it was good to see that even mixing it up a bit we still look balanced. cant put my finger on why we look so different this season but i guess with fash and mckee not playing regularly last season and loy and harris we have effectivley four mew players. is it just loys composure? ferguson on radio said we looked majestic personally think he is off the mark as we just looked sexy as f**k oh and pass marks for the much maligned sheps amd kerr
  18. I couldn't tell either but Loy said in his post match interview the players thought it crossed the line.
  19. The only one that would have been to tell accurately was the linesman as it was certainly close but he seemed quite adamant, still not saying he was right. What about BSLM's effort was that in?
  20. Agree mostly with above and I thought Taiwo bossed the first half and blues looked decent in the holding role. Stowe looks a player although maybe still a bit lightweight but can put himself about and is neat. Gallagher and Ohara also got pass marks. I thought Austin never done much although was constantly trying to break out of rugby tackles.
  21. MTE had a proper bohner at the sight of our team in their new kit.
