honestly doubt thats the case i cant remember any marquee signings the last few years that got bums on seats but our season ticket sales have been increasing. with us retaining him and ohara surely they deserve more game time than just 15 minute cameos. my prefernce is ohara but would like to see us try either with fash up front to see what a bit of pace would add to our attack.

the bare faced cheek of that free kick at Tannadice is enough for me but he does make a difference to our set up when he is in the team. what we have been missing most of the season

as far as houston is concerned just a word of warning our board are at best on par with Raith at selecting managers (looking at the previous three) so i'd stick with what we have for now.

due to who has been in this league the past few seasons i can understand why we didnt have a serious push at winning the league by spending cash. when you honestly look at this seasons squad we didnt have the basis of a top league side to build on. thats got to be the target next year. spend money get the building blocks in place and go for a title win. we have to be getting shot of the likes of kidd, the *** pr*ck and Bob. Kerr and BSLM are getting past it, bslm will still be available for cameos but not someone we can rely on when if we were to go up.

i remember thinking in the first half against queens that if hippo was in the mix aswell we could cause any team problems. fash has turned into our biggest threat and could give us an edge against the team in 11th if we get to the final. alston was playing right back in the play offs thats how thread bare we were. so a balamce had to be met not sure we got it completely right though

honestly dont know if its coincidence or not but recently our attendances have been growing year on year and it seems to coincide with us letting under 12's in for free. i'd love us to adopt the jags take where its under 16's. dont know what their attendances are like and would be difficult to assess with them now in the top flight. yeah i know we love a crowd w**k but its been quite positive at the bairnebeu. the last couple of years have been decent in the sense we have been in the playoffs but i honestly wonder if we do go up and struggle and not neccesarily get relegated but find wins being few and far between will the crowd still attend?

i guess when you loaned out vaughan you were in 5th and after finishing in the playoffs last season you guys were looking up rather than down. so at the time may not have seemed as mental a decision as it does now. obviously i dont know the ins and outs of what you thought at the time.
