  1. Armadale like Whitburn is the road to nowhere,at least the dale voted to be in favour of the pyramid unlike the jurassic committee at Central Park
  2. A lowland league west isnt going to happen anytime soon...,if at all. It may have been possible had tj and his cohorts got involved 5 yrs ago or so but they chose not to. So for big junior clubs in the West like Talbot, its tier 6 in a new West of Scotland league hopefully starting for season 2019/20. Your only one step away from the LL and 2 from the SPFL. TJ and crew missed the boat and now theyre scramblin aboot on life rafts trying to save themselves!! It will all work itself out in the East,2 divisions will be the most likely outcome....an East of Scotland Premier and East of Scotland first Division. The north will take longer to sort out due to apathy about the pyramid. Best of luck to those in the West that grasp the moment and get the ball rolling on setting up a new league for 19/20
  3. Every SHFL game i've been too has assistant referee's running the line.
  4. Whitburn once again at the coo's tail. The not joining the super league a number of years ago and now this !! Am i surprised.....no i'm not, knowing a few of the committee member's,t-rex dosnt get a look in .
  5. The 1st of April will tell a tale......,a lot of talk on here but after the 31st we will find out once and for all who has applied for the EoS and who has not. Not sure if the SoS league closing date is the 31st of March like the EoS or its the end of April?
  6. 1st of April will tell a tale......who has applied and who has not....interesting times lie ahead.
  7. Yeah totally agree Ross, wait a season while holm park is being upgraded and also wait to see whether a west of scotland league will be set up for 2019-20. If not its the E.o.S.
  8. It will soon be getting called the "West of Scotland junior cup not the "Scottish junior cup". The bubble gets ever smaller.
  9. Aye,the american war of independence in the 1770s/1780s and in 1812-1814 as welshbairn quoted involved the "battle of new orleans"
  10. This the same america that kicked the brits out of america not once but twice Special relationship my arse, its only special when it suits the yanks,we're like the wee puppy that begs for scraps aff the table.
  11. What a ferkin hoot, wee britannia running cap in hand to the EU to back them up over Russia !!! Why the fook would the EU want to back britain for after we told them to fook off 2 yrs ago !! Its unbelievable stuff !! As for oor special friends in the U.S......shhhh,not a word and why because putin got trump into power, theyre pretty close. What a sinking ship britannia is
  12. Or maybe a stint in the Lowland League where you are winning most weeks instead of getting toued most weeks will be better for Cowden and their fans Just maybe that is Cowden's level for now? I'm not the only one to think this but if you finish bottom of any league you should be relegated. I know it was self preservation from the SPFL clubs at the time to have a play-off between club 42 and the winner of the SHFL v SLFL playoff but its time for it to go. Feel it will go and hopefully not too far into the future. If Cowden do go down hopefully they come back stronger
  13. Superb news and long overdue. All this talk of location is a pile of pish,it will be right next to the AWPR dual carriageway plus Aberdeen is expanding all the time, the stadium in 10 yrs time will not be on the western edge of the city anymore. I'm sure better bus links will be set up in due time
  14. Derek Lyle would be a good shout at least until the end of the season,a good striker is all we're needing now unless we lose any more players over this transfer window.
  15. Long queues being reported at polling stations in Catalonia with turnout being predicted at 80%+
  16. What a great set up Duns have now!! Great pics HJ !!! Would love to see Duns back in the EOSFL,their set up is LL standard !! Think their problem is more to do with atrracting good enough players
  17. Fuckin love RT,giving you the news as it is and without any Brit/state tv slant on things
  18. Vale were in the main magnificent yesterday,we teased them letting them back in 2-2 . Then applied the killer touch right at the death . The Vale support was fantastic yesterday never stopped singing from start to finish!!
  19. Fair pleased for Catalonia, showing the guts they have in the face of aggression from Madrid. Time will tell how this all plays out,but the catalans have made a huge leap forward. As for Scotland, what a red neck!! We get a free democratic vote on indy to break away from the sinking ship that is the uk and we brick it. The same uk that said if you vote no you will stay in the EU,we voted no and we're still on the way out !! They promised us the most powerful devolved parliament in the world....,what we got was some tax raising and welfare powers far short of what the Basque Country is in control of.....full tax powers, devo max/home rule etc!! Pleased for catalonia but cant help feel embarrassed for scotland, forever bought and sold for english gold !!
  20. Puidgemont and the Catalan government will now at some point over the coming days declare independence. Expect to see thousands of people on the streets guarding Catalan institutions and spanish authorities wading in once more heavy handed and the first casualties being reported. Sooner or later the EU will have to step in before the death toll stacks up.
  21. Puidgemont is playing a blinder,he knows if he announced it tonite he would have been locked up,the catalan parliament suspended and police/troops on the streets. So he's played the diplomacy card, looking like the one who is looking for compromise,Madrid of course will now still come down hard, not as bad as they would hav done but still hard. Puidgemont will then say look i tried but theres no talking to them, then declare it. He's looking for outside sympathy and obviously has one eye on how Slovenia gained independence from the former Yugoslavia.
  22. Oh dear, democracy alive and well in Spain, maybe Franco is still with us?
