Where are you? There's a magic wee Italian Deli that usually have it in Falkirk. Failing that, Waitrose is the only other place locally that I know of.

If that's the one in Grahams Rd I will try again. last time I was in they had none.

  2. As said above the full thing is a complete farce. They do not even have the fourth SPL team at this time. The cost implications will be too much for some SPL teams and will cast it in doubt.

Definitely designed for the Bigot Bros and hopefully all clubs will throw this in the bin. Vote this through and within 5 years you will have B teams in League 2.

What is George Craig's association with us?

Was that a real State/CIty imposed tax, or the self imposed resort fee that Las Vegas hotels invented to keep the headline hotel cost low, whilst charging you large mandatory add on fees when you check out?

It is indeed the self imposed resort fee and you do pay it as you check out.  There is some dubiety over it's legality.  Sneakily though it is charged through your credit card which you use at check in.

  4. Another season ends in basically abject failure.  I think everyone had high hopes that this would be our year given that there appeared to be no other outstanding squad but again we fail.  Much of the blame must lie with Swift and the fact that the board stuck with him for too long.  In addition many of the players need to take a long hard look at themselves and what they actually contributed.

Big season ahead for Gary Naysmith as it will be his team.  Priorities must be a half decent goalkeeper and a decent centre half to play alongside Jamieson.  No doubt GN will have his eyes on a few targets so we will see what we get.

  5. The performances over the last few games have been absolutely woeful to say the least.  Again we are in a situation where we do not seem to know what our best team is.  We are shot shy at the moment as well. Players make a run for the goal but seem reluctant to take a shot on.

Our chances for qualifying for the play offs hang by a thread.  We have had open goals to secure our place recently and have not been able to take any of them.

Forfar are away to Stirling Albion and  home to East Fife.

East Fife are home to Albion Rovers and away to Forfar.

Annan are home to Bonnyrigg and away to us.

Unless we have 2 massive wins and Annan have 2 huge defeats they are safe in 3rd place and un-catchable by us.

A lot depends on what Albion Rovers team turns up at Methil and if the Bino's have a celebration hangover against Forfar before we even consider own chances.

It is going to be dog eat dog for the relegation places as well which makes it interesting for the fans.

I would consider we have had another failure of a season after having high hopes and it will be interesting to see what the manager does next year as that will be his own team. This season was as good a time as any to achieve something and yet again we have came up short which with the squad we have on paper is really disappointing.

That's it all booked up. Croatia, Italy, Slovenia and Montenegro on the agenda. Really looking forward to it.

The sail into/out of Kotor is something to see.

  7. Can only concur with the above. The change at halftime was unbelievable after the way we had played in the first half. Was worried about pace when saw both Forbes and Wedderburn were starting. Can help but think that Forbes has offered more recently when he comes of the bench as an impact player.

Blainey looked uncomfortable and an accident waiting to happen and as for Orr he has looked totally disinterested in any appearances recently.

The next three games are really going to be telling.

  8. Perhaps Sunak and Sturgeon should go and spend 12 hours in a busy A&E and see exactly what the problems are and then work out how they are going to deal with them. Let them be lambasted by the patients and relatives that are having to put up with this.

I am surprised that no one, so far, has made a claim against the NHS for delayed treatment compensation where care falls below medically acceptable standards. or If you have received care that falls below an acceptable standard in the NHS and this care has directly led to avoidable injury, or caused an existing condition to get worse, then you have been a victim of medical negligence.

Perhaps now is the time to ease restriction on immigrants and get carers and nurses into the country. With additional carers then the care homes could run at full capacity which would ease delayed release in the hospitals.

  9. Section 3 is easy to prove and is used most times. A section 2 is a difficult one to prove at times and often the charge would often be dropped to a Section 3.

Have a court appearance for speeding this week on M8.  Happened at 0330 in the morning. Average speed cameras in force near to Govan along to Brahead. Never saw the signs and clocked at 67 in a 40.

Used to do a cracking steal mince pie but then at the same time you had Fishers who had a supreme chicken pie which was only available on a Friday and Saturday.

Fishers, sadly long gone, used to do a treacle scone and a fruit scone as well.  Both were outstanding but the chicken pies were indeed the dogs bollocks.  Mathiesons did a decent custard (vanilla) slice and years ago (50+)you could get a bag of broken biuscuits for next to nothing.

Also in Stenhousemuir, Gardners the Butchers did this thing called a Country Slice which was meat and veg covered in pastry and was very tasty.

I also remember the Co-Op butcher in King Street, Stenhousemuir with the sides of beef hanging down and the sawdust on the floor.
