I cannot understand the point in signing him, it's almost like neither Watson or Raymond actually know what he does. Doesn't look like a Winger or a CF.
Aye he’s nowhere near good enough. He’s so lightweight, he’s not that quick & his composure is horrendous.
Signed just to bring the numbers up I reckon.

That Darren Watson chance near the end though Deary me.
No having it that it was a good save, he literally had 3 options & he chose to hit it right at Jamieson!

As already mentioned a draw probably a fair result.
Thought we were poor in the first half, but should of been 1-0 up with Seb Ross squandering a great chance. We were second to absolutely everything.Second half we came onto a game a bit more with the introduction of Thommo, he has start every week for me. Paterson impressed in the trial games but he’s been a bit anonymous recently for me, not doing anywhere near enough to deserve a start.
Stuart Morrison man of the match for me, he was immense.

That miss from Ross is gonna cost us here.
Stenny are loving the ball over the top of Moore like.

My guess for today's lineup:
McCallum
Allan, Morrison, Hutchinson
Moore, Whatley, Robson, Brindley
Inglis, Skelly, Ross
If Smokie doesn't start, or plays on the left then I think Thommo, with him and Inglis able to interchange as the match progresses.
Can’t see Moore going RWB, have a feeling Allan will go RWB & Munro will slot into Centre half.

Looking forward to a season with some excitement for the first time in a while .
was optimistic last season and then that opening day at Bonnyrigg was dreadful .
Don’t think we even had a shot on target at bonnyrigg in the first game of the season, so anything more than that would be a welcomed

Going into this one very optimistic.
absolutely hate when we play Stenny, it’s always a close game.be interesting to see how we line up. I imagine it will be the same starting 11 that faced St Mirren, if Moore’s still sidelined.
would of liked to be going into tomorrow with another signing or two though.
Just remembered Nditi’s suspended, so be interesting to see who plays at RWB

True, the two St Johnstone loanees we had last year were completely anonymous.
Thought Bobby Dailly was alright in a couple of games, but yeah was never good enough.

Pleasing that we now seem to look dangerous at corners compared to previous years.
I wouldn’t look much into that if you’re basing that on yesterdays game, our defence is very small, don’t think any of them are over 6ft. The only one above 6ft is our keeper.

I felt that Forfar gave us a lot of space yesterday. We played a lot of wee triangles, and a couple of passes seemed to allow us to break into acres of space.
I thought Forfar were decent on the ball without really threatening. The one that came off the bar in the second half, I couldn't work out if it was lucky or unlucky.
I think the diagonal balls in behind our full backs were the absolute killers yesterday, we just couldn’t deal with it at all within the first 10 mins. I think your players realised that so tried it all the time & the majority of the time it worked. Just sometimes didn’t work because of how wet the surface was given all the rain in the first half.

Now that the league cups over & done with. Got through it without any injuries & got some decent performances to go along with it, it’s time to look ahead to the proper fitba.
It’ll be interesting to see how Ray sets us up for the league, We played 4 at the back against Cowdenbeath and 5 at the back the other 3 games. So interesting to see if he’s gonna stick with the 5 against teams in the league.
I think personally we’re still 3 or 4 players short of what we need to actually put a proper stamp down as being title chasers. We have a very good 11 but I’m not too convinced the bench has enough quality to help or support when we do have injuries.
the positions I feel we need to strengthen in (which will probably be loan deals) are
Either sided Full Back - Nditi is prone to picking up a suspension through the totting up system. Brindley is hit & miss, needs more competition for his place.
Left Winger & Right Winger - Thommo is fantastic but lacks in the final third, always seems to take the wrong option but should always be starting for me. Watson’s not good enough in my opinion, he’s too lightweight & gets easily bullied off the ball. Ross just isn’t a winger for me, he seems to struggle & rarely beats his man when on the wings.Striker -We need a subby striker to support Skelly. Skelly’s gonna run out of steam playing constantly every week, every game he’s been involved in he’s been subbed off & the replacement hasn’t done anywhere near as much work as Skelly has. If we can get a similar player with the same work rate that would be perfect.

I’ll watch it back on the highlights and my mind might change… just a bit deflated after that performance
Offered little up top because of the gulf in class between the two sides today. Think against similar opposition in the league we’ll do just fine this season.
Okay I’ve changed my mind I have watched it back. The second goal was decent… it wasn’t the chance that I thought . (Give me a break there was that many we gifted you)

Wait why have we done this then??
Can only think his wage is getting covered and someone else is coming in pronto.
Utterly bizzare, I just don’t understand. Did wonder why he wasn’t on the team line up today.

Taking a point away from Stenny isn’t the worst result so overall quite content with that.
Signing a Striker & a winger is an absolute must though.
Stuart Morrison looks to be a real gem for this level.
Mark Whatley very good today.
Still not overly convinced with Seb Ross or Finn Robson.
Kieran Inglis I thought was quite poor today, played a bit better when he moved back into the middle of the park.
