  1. Ive clearly wanted McPake sacked for ages, and todays performance was pathetic, however we got out of jail with a late, undeserved goal, but somehow that clusterfck of a defender Forster does that. What can any manager, including McPake do about something like that. Jesus Christ!!
  2. That is fcking comical, absolutely fcking comical.
  3. He really is shocking, Frank Van Eijs was better.
  4. Is there any point in Ness? Is his role just to keep Meekings company in the physiology room? We must sign more always injured players than any team in the world, even a Ninewells regulars eleven don't come close.
  5. Decent first 15 minutes, then utter garbage. Slower play as soon as they scored, and we look as lost as usual.
  6. While we haven't really threatened the goal as of yet, we are playing at a much better tempo, and we actually look like we want to score for once. Dorrans playing where he should be, and two actual wingers on. Its a bit surreal.
  7. The dismay of both sets of fans is quite telling, makes you wonder why you through it, sadly you can’t help it.
  8. I think McCann was better than McPake by a good bit, McIntyre has been blocked out of my mind. Given the budget and ability to sign his own squad, I think he is worse than Chisholm and Rae. Edited to say, looking back, we have had some utter dross.
  9. I genuinely wonder if you’re at it, that’s the only explanation. McPake is the worst manager we have had in my lifetime, he makes Kernaghan look good. He is devoid of any positives bar building a decent looking squad, which he has then massively underachieved with. Our goal scoring is pathetic, our play is dismal, our defence is iffy. Since you like comparisons, compare our squad with Arbroath’s, our budget, our results, what conclusion do you come to?
  10. I could comment on each point, but we wont agree, so its pointless really. The recovery period must show signs of recovery, of which there are none. Thats the absolute key issue. If your auntie had baws....... Who says we should be sitting top, seriously, I don't think anyone has said that, certainly not that I can recall. Theres a massive difference from expecting instant success, and expecting signs of improvement, no one expects the 1st, but the 2nd should be the minimum, and its quite clearly not happening. Still, lets dawdle along, eyes closed, fingers crossed.
  11. Thats a cracking defeatist post, summed up perfectly by the second last sentence. 6 points off second place, in the second league in Scotland, lets all rejoice. No wonder our club is an abject failure if this is what is acceptable.
  12. One negative point I will say is, I’ve read people on here, and other places say that it took Utd 4 seasons to build a team to win. There’s truths in that, and massive issues with what they are trying to say. It took Utd several managers, they didn’t stick with failures for the sake of it, and the vast majority of the squad is Neilson’s, not an accumulation of the last 4 years. Loyalty Is a fallacy, every manager and player would be off to a bigger club, a better wage packet in a minute, we don’t owe McPake anything.
  13. It’s going over old ground, let’s be honest the conversation now is pretty damn similar to McCanns time. Some seeing progress, others not. At least 90% agreed on McIntyre. I badly want McPake gone, said at the time it was a ridiculous appointment, and my opinion of his managerial time is lower than I thought possible. We really need a manager with eyes that work, McCann was a stubborn delusional arrogant little man, with anger issues and a very warped viewpoint. While McPake isn’t as bad on some points, there’s similarities on some, he also comes across as the dullest man in the world, I just can’t imagine him motivating the team. But his inability to read a game is utterly abysmal, it’s like he has never watched a game, let alone played it. Anyway, Nelms isn’t sacking him any time soon. We have another derby in 5 weeks, unless we go on a great run until then, I dread how we approach that game, and fear the worst. We’ve been down many holes in the past, but right now, is the most remote I’ve felt from my club. It’s a complete clusterfck, and there are zero signs of improvement.
  14. This season is absolutely utterly fcked beyond belief, yet you want to allow him to fck next season as well. We sack him, and soon, get a competent manager in, he has the remainder of this season to get things right, and we go into next season ready. * Not solely aimed at anyone, but continuing with an abject failure for continuity’s sake would be ridiculed in any walk of life except football. * Nelms would fck the next appointment up as well most likely.
  15. Can’t be bothered critiquing today’s result. Every single post I made after the derby still stands.
  16. Well I have a signal, so I will know the score. Depends on the type of draw, and how things go. Lets just say Im not impressed with the lineup though.
  17. I probably wont get knowledge of the game tomorrow, so, if we win, well done, if we lose, boooo McPake out.
  18. I don't think anyone should believe what players say about their current manager. Every Scotland player said Levein was doing a great job, every Hibs player defended Heckingbottom, every Dee said McCann was great etc etc etc, its what they do.
  19. Who is mad? Ive clearly stated I don't expect to win the league, that second place is what I expect, then win the playoff to have a successful season. You don't seem to deal with nuances. Again, as stated several times, and repeated again, I see no progress, no improvement, no sign of McPake learning, thats why Id get rid, some people see positives, I simply do not. ICT were humiliated at the weekend, if we can go up there and start a good run through to Christmas, I may re-evalute my position, but it wont be a knew jerk reaction to beating Alloa like some people seem to be having.
  20. So you're agreeing with me, and disagreeing over the exact same point. IMO we are in third place in spite of McPake, not becuse of him, and I see no progress from him, thats why Id punt him. You disagree, thats fine, we will have to wait and find out who is right. Just out of interest, when would you sack a manager?
  21. That is not a contradiction. How many central midfielders do we have? Dorrans, Byrne, McGowan, Ness, Robertson, yet we have nothing at left midfield, or left wing. Theres only one person to blame for that surely? OK, whose squad would you have in this league apart from Dundees or Uniteds? You wouldn't take anyones would you?
