  1. Didn’t even bother trying to watch it, knew we would get thumped. I’ve seen their 3rd goal, anyone who still thinks Hamilton is a keeper is off their tits, he is an absolute disgrace. The only thing that can save this season is McPake being found guilty of homophobia, it would force the club into removing him. I just can’t imagine his dour, heavy breathing, non answers would come across well at any interview, how the fvck did he get the job, he is easily the worst manager I’ve seen.
  2. As far as compliments go, it’s like being the tallest dwarf at the circus, or the lightest at fat club.
  3. Hamilton, I thought he would be pish, I was terribly wrong, he’d have to improve massively to get there. Marshall, pleasantly surprised by him, although he isn’t as good as some think. Forster, big, solid, commanding, tough, boy was I bloody wrong. Only mentioning a few of this seasons players, as a Dee, I think we could bring down the internet if we all ranted on the pish that we have been let down by.
  4. Granted, I didnt see a lot of him, but young McPake was nowhere near ready/good enough, for someone very highly rated apparently, he was utter mince.
  5. Ive heard that Dorrans isn't on a big wage at Dens, he isn't even close to being the top earner at the club, although he is clearly only here as he is friends with the cyanide plonker of a manager. Anyway, on topic, Ive voted for Crawford, but would love it to be someone closer to home.
  6. The club needs to write this into managers contracts, no signing players from Inverness CT or Ross County, ever. Even if Messi had a stroke and signed for ICT in a moment of stupidity, then wanted to come to Dens, we should pass. We have been badly burned by signing shite, shiter, diarrhoea, piles and warts from the Highlands, no more FFS.
  7. im sick of reading these happy clap tossers saying everything is great, these people are partly to blame for the club being where it is. Accepting failure for the last few years is pathetic, and thats what they do, the owner is nothing but a narcissist who lets his wee pals chug along with him, the media then report this as what the fans think in general, and we are stuck with another loser. The clubs a complete joke, it has been for years, but lets pretend everything is OK, its pathetic IMO.
  8. Bah humbug, couldn't even get a half, let alone a game into the New Year before we are reminded that this season is just a clusterfuck. Change things now, theres no point prolonging with this absolute nonsense.
  9. Is that actually the answer, because 6th worst defence last season, and 4th worst this season, with pending games, suggests otherwise.
  10. What happened to Anderson, one minute he was captain and a stalwart, then he was binned to Patrick and now Raith, have his legs just totally gone? Only just turned 34, so its a surprise that an experienced CB has been binned considering Saints defensive issues.
  11. Happy New Year to all, lets hope for a better 2020 than the last few years. Hopefully we can win on Saturday, get off to a good start for the year, and McPake can shut the doubters up. Would be a good feeling if we can beat ICT, and go on a wee run of good form, while sadly I don't have any confidence in this, Id love to be wrong, and would love to be clamped by McPake and his 15 game winning run .
  12. Its difficult to look back at the game, especially after a lot of alcohol was consumed. Seemed to be a game of two halves, pretty poor first half, pretty good second half. Overall the draw was probably the correct result, much better than the previous derbies. I thought their goal was a result of Meekings and Hamilton, cant recall the buildup where Kerr is being blamed. I will need to watch the highlights at some point. Reading comments praising Meekings overall performance, so maybe their is hope for him after all.
  13. A very good, unexpected away win and a clean sheet, not a bad day.
  14. Chances all over the, definitely not defences on top. Good scoreline, hopefully we can keep at it in the second half.
  15. Glad that Forster has been dropped, but Meekings is his only possible replacement, which isn't a positive. The side is better than expected with all the injury doubts. Cmon the Dees, an early Christmas present would be great.
  16. I think most of us would love to be as fat as God Harkins.
  17. Holt was really disliked by a lot of Dees, not Martin Woods level, but still. I however thought he was decent, and I think he is better than Marshall.
  18. Shaun Byrne - 4 year deal for a player who doesn't seem to do anything 1/10 Sean Mackie - one of the worst players to play for us, and that says something 2/10 Josh McPake - cant do anything, might come good in a few years time, headless unenergetic chicken 2/10 Jordon Forster - liked the look of him when he signed, but I was very wrong, he is just awful really 3/10 Josh Todd - never performs when he has started, not am impact sub, a bit blah 3/10 Jamie Ness - yet another crock who sees the physio more than the pitch, typical Dundee signing 3/10 Connor Hazard - did ok, but wouldn't really want him back 4/10 Graham Dorrans - the odd excellent pass here and there, for someone of his calibre, he should dominate games, but doesn't 5/10 Declan McDaid - gets both a 3/10 and a 7/10, depending on which version turns up, overall a 5/10 Jordan Marshall - impressed by him, hopefully his injury layoff was a one off 6/10 Danny Johnson - seems to impress, then get dropped, done quite well 6/10 Kane Hemmings - hasnt started as well as we hoped, but not his fault, should get better 6/10 Jordan McGhee - best signing so far, very impressive considering he is playing beside a donkey 7/10 Did mine in order, 4 good, 3 reasonable and 6 flops in my opinion. Purely based on the performances that Ive seen this season.
  19. Absolutely no idea who that is, but thanks to the file name, no thanks. DAB has been. Its Danny Swanson by the way.
  20. We need 4 players IMO, keeper, two central defenders and a left midfield/winger. You feel like a complete tit saying it, but on paper we should be so much better, you look at the names, and think the potential is there. Problem is, names on paper mean feck all, its players on grass that is important, and for various reasons, we just arent working. The collapse against Dunfermline has really been a blow, from a great position, real confidence building, good for goal difference etc, it almost feels like another defeat. Just need to hope for a wee Christmas boost at Partick on Saturday.
  21. Who was the last good loan player we had? I think McPake has been a bigger disappointment than Mackie, for the hype, I expected a bit better, even allowing for his age, and lack of experience. Neither go down as a success. Last seasons loans were all pretty poor, McGowan was ok, Wright was hot and cold. The season before, Allan has talent, but never suited us as a team.
  22. Completely agree, two good debuts, if my memory is OK, then several suspect games. Is it Alloa that have the Killie keeper on loan, he is miles better than Hamilton.
  23. Compared to Forster and Meekings, Id probably take any centre back who has played for us in the last decade, struggling to think of anyone, let alone two who were worse. Forster really doesn't have any qualities, he cant run, he cant pass, his tackling is abysmal, and for someone of his size, not being able to header the ball is criminal. Meekings, nah, the guy should f**k off and open a Lighterlife store.
  24. Just watched the highlights, Forster is just awful, and Hamilton just isn't a keeper, that second goal was embarrassing.
  25. He hasnt been too bad since the opening day disaster against Dunfermline, maybe he has a soft spot for them. Ideally, we would replace him, but other areas need strengthened first IMO.
