Parish Kerr Innis Boyle Ralph Curran McGowan Madianga Miller Kallman Miller Keep it simple, the defenders are told safety first, Curran provides cover for Kerr, likewise Miller for Ralph. Nae fucking about.

BBC have an Old Firm combined squad thing, it was posted today and allowed you to pick a team between the two sides. You can still pick Calvin Miller and Moussa Dembele on it, absolutely right up to date as usual from the BBC.

Fair comment. Havent seen the three signed on Friday, so not including them, but I havent been impressed by any of this seasons recruits, apart from Madianga so far. Caulker seemed to be everything from lapse and uninterested to excellent, quite often in the same few minutes, he must have issues. If we continue to play Meekings though...

I dont get it either, apart from Kamara and Hendry, theres no other successes, maybe pass marks for Madianga and Parish.

I have to agree. I never got the excitement when we signed Meekings, mainly out of ignorance towards ICT players. However I expected so much more based on peoples reaction to his signing. in reality is is abysmal, and would be the last defender Id pick, the fact he is captain is laughable. As for Deacon, he looks good until he has to do something, absolutely no final ball or shot 90% of the time.

I dont boo at games, or shout abuse at players etc (Well apart from Moussa) but I cant possibly imagine being anything other than negative over the last 30 months. Id love to be positive and hopeful for my club, but I wont whitewash what I see. McCann turned down the job to go back to Sky, to earn more money and sit in the studio and have an easy life. Unfortunately for him Sky decided that he and David Tanner were no longer wanted due to ongoing internal issues, and that their contracts would not be renewed. He then decided that the Dundee job was something he wanted. I loved him as a player, his chip is a great DFC memory, him returning as a Deefiant was brilliant as well, and I can perfectly understand the 6? games that he was given to stop us from going down, it was a hit and hope, Mourinho may have failed, where Mixu may have succeeded. But he should never have got the job full time.

The last season under Hartley was dismal, but I thought last season was worse, and this season looks like its somehow get even worse, thats just staggering. The goalkeeping situation is bizarre, Parish is average, but pretty solid and reliable, if we can upgrade on him great, but to spend money on Hamilton was utterly ridiculous, he has no composure and quite simply cant use his his feet. In central defence we have Caulker who hasnt lived up to the billing sadly, Meekings who is a bombscare, Kusunga who has moments, O'Dea who has lost his pace and Waddell who shows good promise, surely between them we should be able to get a solid 2 or 3 depending on formation. Pick them and stick with it, stop changing every game. We have one right back in Kerr, who was being very strongly touted for a Scotland call up a few seasons ago, yet now looks fragile and scared, we have one left back in Ralph, who looks a downgrade on both Holt and Aurtenetxe. In midfield I believe we have several good options, some really good players, yet we cant get a system that works, theres no balance, little creativity and absolutely no width. Very poor squad management has left us struggling. Up front the less said the better. Moussa, well we all know about him, Mendy is never good enough, Wighton looks lost 99% of the time, Kallman will hopefully be the answer we need. Id love McCann to turn it round, but its been 15 months since he was appointed, and its like groundhog day IMO. These are just my opinions, and Im sure I will get shouted at for being negative, but he has ruined Kerr from being a good player, made an absolute mess of signings, is tactically naive, stubborn and argumentative. Theres no progression, and we are in real trouble.

Next week will be massive. I hate playing Motherwell, a big physical team who usually do OK at Dens, and the pressure is massively on us. I have no confidence that McCann will have a game plan.

I dont believe he will be sacked any time soon. I fancy us to get a draw on Saturday anyway.
