We could be fcked. We have played every team once now, so the positive people cant say its a bad run of fixtures. Its a results based business, and it doesnt matter if we create dozens of chances, but struggle to score, we cant keep a clean sheet either. Its pretty dismal stuff. Moussa and Deacon are utterly useless, Haber and El Bakh not good enough either, I just cant see where the goals are coming from. Kamara and Hendry are good signings, Spence looks decent, the rest are dubious at best.

He is indeed. McCann said he would become a cult hero for the fans, unfortunately he meant the oppositions fans. Haber isnt great, or even good most of the time, but he is Messi compared to Moussa.

We cant afford to play Deacon, Allan and El Bakh plus a misfiring striker in the same team, it leaves our midfield woefully over run. As far as midfield goes, McCann needs to accept and understand that McGowan must play, if he is fit, he has to be on the pitch IMO. McCanns insistence on 4231 trying to play good football can be admired, but it isnt working, myself and others said it wouldnt work after watching us in the cup games against lower league teams. Sometimes you need to be man enough to admit that you cant achieve what you want to, and organise what you have to achieve the best results. As usual with us, we have an unbalanced squad, and a physio team who must be the busiest in the country. I still think we will be OK, but things need to change soon. Allan isnt what he thinks he is, he isnt what some fans think he is either. His one good spell came for Hibs in the Championship, he needs to start performing at this level to justify his spot in the team. The nonsense about trying too hard, or seeing passes others dont is grating.

Watched the first half online, and we werent that bad in defence and midfield, but non existant up front. Deacon, El Bak, Allan and Moussa dont look good enough, and playing all 4 is effectively giving away any chance we have. I think we have a slightly better squad than last season, but McCanns formation is not working, and he needs to change it. Im relatively hopeful that we will be safe, but we need to turn it around very soon.

We need someone who can score goals, its that simple. Haber, El Bakhtaoui and Moussa will never score regularly, we cant rely on any of them IMO. If we can get a goal scorer, I will be reasonably confident about the season, if we cant theres a very good chance we will be relegated.

His signings have overall been very poor, the thought of allowing him to rebuilding fills me with dread. How many short central midfielders who cant defend, or score goals are we going to sign. He finally signs a winger in Williams and never plays him, mainly because he looks dreadful, but he was the one who wanted him.

Absolutely disastrous weekend for us, Friday night was pathetic, it was embarrassing, and it could very well be season defining. Hartley will still be in charge on Tuesday, as I doubt the board will change anything before the end of the season regardless of results. He could walk away, he looked absolutely lost last night, with any luck his plans are safety then resigning with what little dignity and respect he still has. Its almost certain we will have a new manager next season, the squad needs entirely overhauled, whoever comes in has a massive rebuilding job.
