Theres a man who is responsible for that, and its the manager. If he only has one system to play, and that falls to bits when the worst striker in the league isnt available to us, then what does that say about him as a manager? Its not even like we are successful when Moussa plays, we are bloody awful when he plays, yet somehow get worse when he is missing. That quite simply isnt acceptable.

I keep reading on forums, twitter and facebook that Saturday was a blip, that the signs of progression are there, that all we need is a bit of luck, a striker who can finish, etc etc When do people think that enough is enough, these exact same sentiments have lasted 12 months now, and theres no actual signs of anything improving. Unless we can get a striker we are absolutely fucked, I have no confidence that McCann will sign a player who can score. Bring back Hartely FFS.

Our last two managers havent deserved any praise for at least two seasons, Hartley started well, but should have been sacked a year earlier than he was, McCann as a stop gap was OK, but he should never have been appointed as the permanent manager, has been a failure IMO. If we play well and beat St Mirren, I will give credit where its due, not simply because I think everything is super rosey and feel I need to talk up everything about my club. We scored with a misplaced cross, and a shot from McGowan that somehow went in. We may not have an easier game all season, which is a worry if that standard of performance is to be repeated. Football is all about what other teams have done, for the most part, football is predictable, its why Barca, Celtic, Bayern, PSG, Juventus continually win leagues. Bigger teams, with better players tend to beat smaller teams, with lesser players. Sure random results happen, but not often. As an aside, this team will endure a very poor season IMO. We dont have the players to compete for top 6, so it will be the usual struggle with Hamilton, Livi and St Mirren to avoid the drop, I have no confidence that McCann knows his best team, system or tactics yet, we are 4 men short of a competent squad. Oh the joys of supporting DFC.

Yes laboured. We played tippy tappy pish as usual, our attackers were non existent as usual. Considering the opponents, it was nowhere near what should be expected. The performance simply wasnt good enough, anyone who was there should be saying that.

Despite the board allowing McCann to invest heavily in his own players, we managed to get 2 points more than Hartleys last season, bearing in mind that season was rightly regarded as a clusterfuck by just about everyone, its hardly great progress. Fans can think we play great football, but they are incredibly wrong IMO. McCanns football isnt Barceloneesque, more often than not its turgid. I think a significant number of fans have had enough, crap football, crap signings, dismal performances, expensive season tickets, ridiculous gate prices. Its just a perfect storm of indifference.

Im stating that finishing 9th doesnt equate to a good season. I dont know anyone who is convinved by McCann, most are undecided, a minority thinks he will fail.

Bit in bold is absolutely comical IMO. Last season was anything but good. I know people who had season tickets last year, who havent renewed as they have had enough of the dismal football and terrible results.
