    South Ayrshire council recently announced another delay (lol) to the work at Ayr train station. The status on the National Rail website has gone from saying “disruption expected until 25th March” as recently as a few days ago, to now saying “disruption expected until 2nd June”. By that point it will be over 8 months of replacement buses from Prestwick to Ayr and onto Girvan and Stranraer.
