So, will @Im_Rodger go with good grace and magnanimity, or will he be greeting like a bairn???? Farewell, Tory-supporting wankmaggot... Oh, almost forgot to add - we won!!!!!!!! -

What's Alex Neil up to these days?? Imagine Accies beating us tomorrow, McCann getting the boot, Neil replacing him and is sending Accies down under his leadership. That would be hilarious!! @Im_Rodger would be crying until the next time his beloved Tories win a Scottish election.... -

Picking whoever we are playing would have kept you in so far, so why mess with a winning formula?? -

What you would expect us to do here is lose. Again. What we will do is: be a disorganised rabble for 75 minutes and go 2-0 down. Get a flukey deflected goal, then pile on the pressure for the last 10 minutes, and get an equaliser and a 94th minute winner. Everyone thinks that's great, McCann feels vindicated and we lose our next 6 games. Put your mortgage on it... -

If everyone were available, I would be looking at something like: Parish Kerr Kusunga Meekings Ralph Kamara Madianga Deacon Elton Nabi Kallman Miller x2, Curran, McGowan, Innis/Boyle, Moussa/Mendy on the bench. I'm not sure about either central defender, but am even less sure about the two newbies as yet, so would give them another chance to not make a total pig's arse of it. (Would probably have Waddell in before any of them TBH). Definitely think that the two holding midfielders would give a great platform for the three behind Kallman to get forward. -

Oh dear. Not sure what to say after yesterday. Lots of differing opinions as to whether McCann should stay or go so early in the season, but I have to say that the results on the park aren't good enough. His recruitment may or may not be decent, but his use of players is terrible. Signing a left back and then playing a right back out of position (I know Ralph was injured yesterday, but he did it before then too) and a right winger at right back AND THEN bringing on what was ostensibly another left back and still leaving the two full backs out of playing out of position is nothing short of criminal. Wighton never got an extended run in the team (admittedly, that wasn't just a McCann thing) and kind of fizzled out, the sense of paying actual cash for a keeper no better, if not worse, than the existing one is non-existent and the tombola selection tactics just aren't helping. Just had a look at the stats for last season - McCann signings scored 24 league goals last season (just looked at league, due to the fact that we played lower league teams in the cups and didn't want to skew the findings) - 7 for Moussa, 6 for AJ, 3 for Murray and Waddell, 1 each for Hendry, Caulker, Kusunga, Deacon and Henvey. 6 scored by Central Defenders, so 18 for 5 attack-minded players. Wolters, Spence, Jon and Kamara didn't score and the rest were either goalies or only played a couple of times as subs. That just isn't good enough. He's had three transfer windows to fix the obvious problems with the squad, and he hasn't. Kallman & K. Miller and the new signings from Friday haven't had time to make an impact yet, am reasonably impressed with Kharl so far, and Elton, C Miller and Nabi have looked decent in flashes. Unless there's a huge improvement once they gel into the squad, we will be going down. I honestly don't think McCann is the man to make it happen, and I'm sticking with my Hopkin/Duffy dream team to rescue the season. Thank God for international breaks!!! -

It's Boyle. Still time for another, though... Don't want to jinx it, but pleasing not to hear any rumours of Kamara or Caulker leaving so far... -

Just hope no-one bought a personalised Miller top at the shop yesterday - they'll have to take it back to get the "K" added. As well as a "." - I bet the shop charges for that too!!!! -

Offloading Wighton and bringing in Miller doesn't look like a good bit of business IMHO. However, selling Wighton and re-investing some or all of that cash (and maybe a bit of the Hendry money too) on Shankland/Swanson/random French or Finnish winger/young loanee from English Premiership doesn't look as daft... -

The end of the season??? We've been looking for a goal scorer since Kane left. Can't believe we had so many chances and couldn't put them away. Sorry, meant to say "Can totally believe..." Struggling to see where our first points will come from now... (well, apart from playing the fermers.) -
