Alex Neil?
If Killie go down - the fat grass?
It’s already been announced Peter Grant is leaving Alloa. I like what he tried to do there if I’m honest.
I just want us to start playing half decent football more frequently. More guys you want to go and see. This season there was Charlie alone until January when we got Cumdog and WNNC. Credit to WNNC for having the balls to cross the street too.I assumed TW would stay as he only just got his job there, Peter grant Iv not watched much of Alloa so I can’t really comment on him, doubt would Alec Neil take a step down(a couple of steps) doubtful

Correct me if I’m wrong, but if we do punt Mcpake and I can understand both arguments to keep and punt him, the replacements we’d likely have by the end of the season will likely be
Brian Rice if accies go down
john Hughes if county go down
peter grant I assume he’ll get sacked for Alloa going down
Gus”fuckin”McPherson
unless their is a candidate that I can’t see I’d rather just stick or twist with Mcpake now that he actually has a run of form

Has McCann done enough in his spell with both us and his current spell in Inverness to suggest he has learned/improved and can make a wee go at a career as a coach/gaffer?
SpoilerHappy birthday too

The absolute nonsense that Dodds is spouting once again, defies belief:
I’ll probably get stick for this, but he’s right in saying it wasn’t his or Chisholm fault that the club was financially mismanaged, with the rejection of the cva they we’re always going to be the fall guys, let’s be real for a second and put our Dundee heart aside who would take 6p/10p in a £1 to work their job regardless of what their wage may be,maybe they made a counter offer maybe they didn’t but I don’t and wouldn't blame anyone for saying no to that

Did the groundsmen not do an article not long ago after everyone said how bad it was?

Out of curiosity, does anyone think our pitch length and width suits our game(whatever that is)?

He did "get a crack" at going up. He had the whole season and finished 18 points behind Dundee United. A poor Dundee United. 4 points behind Inverness. Fucking Inverness. We were also one singular point ahead of Ayr United. 5 ahead of Arbroath - who had a game in hand. I'd say there was significantly more chance of not playing in the play offs than there was to being promoted.
He has also "had a crack" at it this season and has once again led us (so far) to the disorientating dizzy heights of third behind Hearts - who I have long said would always win it, so fair enough - and Raith Rovers. RAITH ROVERS.
This is genuinely how I feel when I read people sticking up for McPake. I will make no further comment.
Reminds me of that Seattle fan

There are always forum arguments when a particularly bad result or performance causes frustrations to erupt.
I suppose your right about underachieving - our Davidson - Benedictus based defence (we have spells where theyre either heroes or are past it) has lost 9 fewer goals than your expensive defence.
Sorry for the red dot, it’s just too raw.

Speaking of youth, anyone know if young Fleming at Annan has got the minerals to play at a higher level, I include D.Strachan and Moore at Forfar? As the start of the season the club was quite good in giving us little updates, would be nice for them to continue

Kinda made me happy to be honest when the ESL was announced on the back of
Spurs2-2Everton, Arsenal 1-1 Fulham , Getafe 0-0 R.Madrid, inter drawing with Piemonte getting beat , signing the letter of intent to then have Liverpool draw with leads
then tonight it’s all cancelled with Chelsea drawing 0-0 with16th place Brighton
LOVE IT.

Gary Irvine wasn't anything other than poor to competent, he was moved out of position and played at LB. He done a decent enough job of it - at a higher level, no less.
I sincerely hope one day people will stop making excuses up for a player who has been a professional at the club for near enough a decade who still can't make a position his own or even cover well enough.
No excuses at all, he wasn’t at fault for the goal today, in my opinion he’d have played ahead of Elliot of Marshall wasn’t out 2 games on the trot now Kerr has been a makeshift LB and twice he hasn’t let us down, just got to eek out another 2 as you put it competent games and with hopefully Marshall back for the playoffs

Cammy played okay second half, alot better than the first. Alot of wingers play on the opposite side so they can cut in attacking the fullbacks weak side. It's done all over the place right upto the top level. It was proven tonight Kerr on the left he cuts in and makes more passes. As i said pre match i prefer him there than on his right to hoof it up straight away.
Adam had a free kick where he can't move with the ball and played it back to receive it to move forward against 9 men (why the keeper is high up). The ball was then played slightly behind McMullen who as you said took on two players and was in a better position to create a goal. Would you rather a hoof in the box than spreading it out (slightly behind) our best creator on the ball. Odd decision making - not so sure.
Gracias.
Against 9 players, yes, I’d hoof it straight in the box, “slighty behind” McMullan was just in front of the halfway line, we’ve been fairly decent at attacking set pieces however our crossing has much to be desired having either been over hit or failing to get past the first man

Some on here said they'd be happy with that.
Aye but McDaid is shite and nowhere near good enough either.
Very true, but out the 2 of them he was at least deployed in his natural position, unless I’m wrong and he’s been moved there to (correctly)accommodate McMullan

Another decent game from cammy, never let us down for the goal at least , for those that say cammy doesn’t have a left foot I’m not sure I seen Mcdaid use his once either, Ashcroft popping up with another crucial goal.
Charlie Adam he some of the oddest decision making Iv seen, 88th min everyone in and around the box, he then passes it 3 yards backwards to the keeper who for some reason is halfway up the pitch, he then receives it back from the keeper in the same spot he was in, takes 2 touches forward and instead of pinging it into the box he decided to smash it across to the other wing nowhere near anyone forcing McMullan to run back and collect it so he can take on the 2 players
