Stewart Petrie, Bobby Williamson where the hell are bookies getting these names??

Jim McIntyre was the most experienced manager we've had since Chisholm.
90% of managers that have lots of experience either aren't very good or have a lot of baggage.
I'd rather we went for someone who already knows what youth talent we have that can be supported by an older statesman type tbh.
Do you say experienced or shite and shafted from all prior jobs?0 -
As much as it wouldn’t overwhelm me I would probably take derek Adams with Mcpake as a #2 , although if we did land MW it would be his contacts that would be his biggest strength both domestic and abroad

Speroni is leaving Palace. Player manager please.
Much like McCann if he comes in and does pish his image for me will go down hill , can’t deal with 2 legends going down the swanny so soon0 -
Couple of teams have released players anyone stand out so far?

Championship standard would be appropriate.
Not if we want to come up straight away because if (and when) we do championship players with another 2 years on there contracts won’t cut the mustard0 -
Better ones.
Define better, do you think we are able to recruit English championship players or do we only have enough clout for league 2/non league?0 -
What type of players should we be looking to recruit?

Dundee only have 7 senior players under contract for next season and wouldn't see Meekings and Davies playing too many games.
Hamilton
Ralph
Miller
C Curran
Davies
Meekings
Nelson
Josh Todd from QoS aswell0 -
Obviously we are in the business now of handing out 2/3 year deals so whoever we go for should have the ability to get us up in one go and with the remaining year(s) left on the contract should keep us up easily instead of the same drift wood shite we usually get in

f**k it I'll make my own transfer rumours up.
Would like to see us go for Michael Tidser. I know Ryan Williamson has just been released from Dunfermline but he was linked with big things in the past and is only 22. Good, relatively cheap RB to compete with Cammy who will be absolutely fine at Championship level.
Wouldn't mind Gary Woods in if we can't keep Dieng. Be good to have Ferrie, Hamilton and the older Woods all battle it out for number 1.
Maybe finally take a punt on Lewis Vaughan as well?
“Give me harkins and ten pieces of wood I’ll win us the champions league “ quoted from sir Barry smith himself

Out of curiosity, does anyone think we would have had a better chance with billy dodds as JM number 2, as that is who the board were hiring in the first place and with the Dundee faithful screaming blue murder they didn’t exactly get the team they wanted

Morton are going for David Hopkin.
Probably would have been my pick of out of contract managers0 -
Motherwell signing Liam Polworth on a free is the exact type of signing we should be making but oh no we’ll end up signing some shite no-marks from non league down south and end up in the mire.
I think we have josh Todd from QOS, the fact iv never heard of him says it all really0 -
Surely with all these breaks we are having our squad should all be back fresh as daisy (Davies excluded ) Nelson should last around 80 minutes, Kerr back in the squad looking interested and J.Curran has looked a little better than usual...looking forward to this split [emoji55]

Say McIntyre is out, who’s in ?
David hopkin- done well at livi and out of contract
Stuart McCall - premiership experience also out of contract
Gary naysmith- done very well at every club he’s been at and deserves the chance to move to a bigger club and would be a decent acquisition especially if we are relegated
Ian McCall - it’s Ayr , he is a damn miracle worker or shankland is just that good and is a one man team
John robertson- turned Inverness from zeros to hero’s
Anyone else sum what available? Or is JMAC a good manager to have in championship on a rolling contract?0 -
Dens is falling apart ,built on a hill with shite parking and owned by an Arab ...someone is offering a brand spanking new stadium, owned by a dee and creating a bit of good history for the first time in my lifetime that doesn’t end in admin 3
As a fan do you turn up to watch the stadium or the team as it shouldn’t matter where we play as long as it ours to call home

I’d have had Greg Wylde , Aaron Doran , Anthony stokes
Probably take a gamble on tansey
If I was being cheeky lee Wallace , Craig Forsyth or Ikechi Anya0 -
I imagine with these loan signings he’s planning for both survival with a fresh squad or relegation with with a newer cheaper squad
