Cause I’m in hospitality I rarely get a Saturday off and only ever get to the Tuesday/Wednesday night games , I’ve got this Saturday off should I go see the game or should I get pissed? Lately this forums been full of “its shite or I’m not paying for that” or something along those lines , will it change against Ayr?

I’d keep mcpake on till the end of the season , the squad on paper looks good and I don’t believe for a second that he’s the only one to blame when you have strachan, nichol and even Barry Smith right next to him every day eventually it’ll just click whether it be 1/2 players who are leaders that can take the game by the balls McGowan does it but he can’t be relied upon every game , does dorrans even fit our team?

The 1st team I’d be contacting about the availability of their back up keeper would be Motherwell for Trevor Carson. If nothing comes of that it would be Aberdeen for Cerny, a stab in the dark for Bogdan of Hibs. They owe us one regards Mackie then Killie for McDonald. All unfortunately a vast improvement on what we have.
Personally I’d take a punt to see if we can get 1.cerny 2. Gordon 3.and probably the most outside shout Liam Kelly who isn’t exactly making an impact at qpr0 -

That’s exactly what we need quality not quantity personally I’d probably haunt people in the English leagues that aren’t having a great time but have experienced and enjoyed their time in Scottish football

Personally I’m usually a supporter of Hamilton, but my god it’s getting harder and harder doesn’t help much we’ve got that absolute nightmare in Forster and Meekings as well has totally regressed im sure he’s not even played 50 games for us in I’m not sure how many seasons he’s been here

How very dare you DTotal. Nelms said something to the effect that he carried out a significant review of qualities he was looking for in the new manager (after the debacle of the McIntyre appointment) and that McPake was the outstanding candidate.
Then again, Nelms also said that prior to deciding McIntyre / Dodds was the correct appointment he sounded out a number of Dundee minded people to see if they thought the appointment could be a problem and that none of the people he spoke to thought it would be. Strangely enough every Dundee fan I spoke to thought it would be a problem.
Sorry must be my mistake, Nelms must see something that the rest of the football world doesn’t see, a little known fitba guru
