As the here we go twitter account said it's hard to believe the club have a PR professional on the board as that statement is probably about as bad as it could possibly have been. Neither backs nor sacks the manager, just fobs it off for a few days.

That is bizarre. Thought it was going to be difficult to bring a new boss in before the end of the window so making signings was going to be very difficult but now they've somehow managed to keep the manager while making it clear they have little to no confidence in him. So they're still left with the problem of it being really difficult to bring someone in for a manager who in all likelihood will not be there beyond a week.

True but as bad as the Brora result was for Hearts they still had the fairly easily achievable goal of promotion to tide them over that season and make up for it to an extent. If Darvel was a blip and Aberdeen had been still doing reasonably well in the league I'm sure it would be a different story.

I see Miko Virtanen has signed for Cove until the end of the season. Had completely forgotten about him, apparently wasn't getting a game for Accies. Ronan confirmed at Colorado as well so at least that's a transfer that shouldn't get dragged up again for a couple of windows at least.

My body clock is fucked just now so stayed up and watched it. Thought it was really, really good. It wasn't 1:1 to the game but I'd say it was about as close as possible as they could make it. All the performances seemed spot on. Really looking forward to the next one.

Binged most of the third series this week and it really is decent and better than almost all of the recent official Trek stuff. Besides being a bit schmaltzy at times and Seth MacFarlane's obsession with having characters sing I didn't have many complaints for this series at all. Really hope they carry on with the show but with it being this long and no announcement I'm guessing the chances are fairly slim.
