Yeah I've gone back and watched the episode again and you're probably right. I really liked the bonding stuff between Joel and Ellie but I think ep. 5 probably is stronger. The way they did the Henry and Sam stuff was really good and I didn't mind any of the changes, it probably just hit a bit harder in the game for me because you get to spend a lot more time with them.

Episode 5 although decent was definitely the weakest episode so far for me.

Yeah that definitely sounds a good appointment on paper. Must mean that Cormack is prepared to take more of a back seat surely? Or at the very least have a lower profile.

Robson saying Morris has been injured for a while and is out for the season. Odd that there was speculation for him being punted in the window when he was likely already injured by the sound of it. Not sure why the club is so weird about announcing injuries at times.

Episode 4's another strong one and the trailer for ep.5 looks great too. I see episode 5 is being shown on Friday in the states because of the superbowl. I'm guessing Sky will show it early as well.

Dunno but I honestly think most sides would have seen a bit of humour in coasting to a win after getting an extremely dubious decision in their favour a few minutes in like that. The claiming of victimhood after getting everything in their favour is normally something reserved by Celtic fans.

Aye not angry in any way, just a little surprised at how much they changed Bill and Frank's relationship. It's pretty much an entire reversal of how it played out in the game. I suppose they needed something to change Joel's motivation towards Ellie which wasn't really the case at this point in the game. As you say it was a nice, if a little sappy story that was well told and well acted but not really seeing it as the masterpiece that a lot of people are. Taking advantage of the medium I suppose as this wasn't really a story that could be told in the same way in a AAA action game.

Saw a lot of hype for episode 3 as being something special and while I thought it was good I don't think it lived up to that much hype. Going to be interesting to see the reaction to it and whether there's much of a difference between those that have played the game or not as this is definitely the first episode that significantly differs from the game. Don't want to risk spoiling anything but besides some broad similarities I think Bill is a completely different character from the game to the show and despite being a fan of Nick Offerman I think I prefer Bill from the game.

Back to more boring matters Connor Mcavoy a young defender from Fulham being linked to ourselves, Hearts and Plymouth in a few places. Out of contract in the summer so unclear if just a loan or permanent deal.
