I know one thing at least, we'll be better now compared to where we were the last two-three seasons spent in the Championship. We won't have Darren Cole, Hugo Faria and Burchill's buddies

Yeah of course, that's largely the basis for it. Gallagher has had experience at Premiership though with Dundee and seemed comfortable from what I've heard. Last year he took the piss at times trying to run box to box. He seemed comfortable with us last time in here too, Halkett next to him is young but looks to be learning quickly. It'll be a big learning curve for him I'm sure, especially the first game with you guys. The biggest worry is Crighton and Lithgow, if either starts at RB we'll lose 4-0. Not to mention us not having a GK that's really out his depth with Maley (ex-Broxburn)

If McCallum is around we'd probably take a punt instead, was here before and looked okay. Sorts out a long term option, faith in Hopkin though - almost all his signings worked out

Reckon it'll be a good game, provided we start with Halkett and Gallagher at the back it's a hard defence to break down. Bit of a claim but those two are possibly one of the best CB pairings in the league - time will tell though

That'll be that then A few good GKs kicking around I'm sure, better than GM surely. If not I'm sure Rangers would let us take Kelly back for him to develop in the Championship but hopefully that's a last resort as we want a long term option

Really need to get a GK signed up asap, would take Albion Rovers GK if possible, looked pretty good all last season. Would be more reliable than GM

Todorov, Mullen, Carrick, Peters, Mackin Pretty decent pool of depth for us, good cover for injuries and allows one to come on as a sub each time. Who gets left on the bench for the start of the season though? Can see Mullen, Peters and Mackin possibly starting in a front three, able to move Mullen out and Carrick in same with Mackin and Todorov? Could see us going back to a 343 like we have last season, Cadden/Mullen/Keaghan playing as wing backs/tracking back. It would explain the lack of a RB if we went Crighton, Halkett and Gallagher at the back

Mackin then? Seemed okay last season, was there much he showed last season that wasn't against us? Seems as though he'll be playing hold up for Peters/Carrick/Mullen. We've 4 strikers now and looking at Todorov again so maybe seeing you lot in the playoffs if we're going balls out attack

Not too sad to see Millar go really, if him and Miller go it may be the season for Knox to step up and show his worth if he's staying. Knox could do well in behind the strikers feeding balls through, the boy has got a great pass on him. Just needs to work on strength or being able to beat a man and he could be a regular

Wasn't Stirling that could claim, it's Dieppe. Signed as an amateur at Hearts without pay so wasn't a professional contract so compensation would still be there to be paid

The number being talked about has been £40k which is less than we paid for White I'm sure

White signs elsewhere, thank god. Hearts have also released Dylan Bikey, might be a good shout if possible. For even if Buchs doesn't sign up

We'd take Kirkpatrick, would be a great signing if he is out of contract. I'm sure he'd want to take a step up and also go full time

With his drug issue hanging over him.... he's a shoe in to sign for us I'm sure Martindale can pay him in his own special way! In other news, looking forward to seeing how East Fife's 2017/18 Championship Campaign pans out
