I dont think shortlees are as good as previous years. Their lack of a top striker is a definite problem but if Knapp plays like he did saturday past then I can only see one winner but new farm do have it in them to win. I hope thistle win Saturday too but it's a huge ask as eastfield are quality

Got to put my hands up and admit new farm have proved me wrong. To beat glenburn and dailly in the space of a week is impressive. If they can get a result of shortlees then they are definitely in the title hunt. Thistle arent great by any means so it would throw the league wide open. You could say the league have done them no favours by giving them these fixtures one after another but it they take 9 points or even 7 from them when the rest all have each other to play still, could be a game changer

Young mason is a player but knapp is still the main man. Sandy's could not cope with him all day yesterday. Scored a great goal and terrorised them, particularly second half. He was fouled more than Jack grealish and by my count he should have had at least two penalties. Joe gold is a class act still as well. The amount of unselfish work he does is superb. Would like to see a heat map for him after a match

I'm not saying it's out or order mate. I just dont think it's right to assume your game is more important. It's more important to you and shortlees of course but every clubs game is important to them. Just because a club isn't in the quarter final of the scottish cup it doesn't mean their league or cup match is any less important and I think it's a little condescending that's all. That's brilliant by NF and good on them for doing that. However I dont think many more would have that's all I'm saying. If my team are playing an important match at the top or the foot of the league table with all due respect I couldn't care less that shortlees are in the q-finals of the Scottish cup mate

Sorry mate but dont buy into this. Its dog eat dog for an astro in ayrshire with people setting alarms at 5.30 in the morning to send an e-mail. There will have been times where other clubs have had to go a Saturday without playing because you have had the Grange or whatever. It's just the nature of the beast in ayrshire. Scottish quarter final or not mate your game isn't any more important to you as new farms or whoever is to them. We all want to play on a Saturday regardless of the fixture

We all feel that way about refs. They dont "favour" teams they just have shit games the same way players do. Had dailly won 5-2 despite the decisions going against them the referee would not even be mentioned by them. I do it as well with my team when we lose we all do.

So you have now slated shortlees, oban and wishaw. Three sides who have proved themselves as top amateur sides over the years. Standard of games can be poor. Colville park were one of the best ever amateur sides but I saw them a couple of times and they looked average. Still won everything in amateur football. Cant be brilliant every week. If that's what your after stop following amateur football would be my advice

Take eastfield out the equation most probably and everyone else left in the majors are capable of beating each other.
