  1. What a shit anacronym, Tam. You are indeed a bam. Did you use up all your charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent to concoct that?
  2. What a big fucking baby. We may have called you names, slagged off your senile twat of a manager and town in general, but it's only to try and undermine you. McInally, being given another year, will manage that all by himself going on yesterday's showing.
  3. I think, in truth, we will finish second (pending Friday's 'outcome') but as it is i don't quite think there would be an enormous crowd on a Tuesday/Wednesday night at Spartan's, compared to a Saturday match. I don't think there would be much difference between them at HQ. The best hope for two decent gates would be for us to end up third, and play at home first, as i expect we'll make up easily 70-80% of any crowd attending either leg. But we want to win every game and go in on good form.
  4. The suggestion you single out, the "badge alteration", was merely made to stimulate discussion, along with ten other pop-up ideas. Think of it as a ten minute brainstorm at the AGM!! That said, no one appears to have read between any lines of why it was one of the ten. I'm also sure Goodwillie predates Norrie at the club, but of course he has penned two contracts since. It's something that i believe a lof of fans have just made their peace with and got behind the team.
  5. Yes SLW, that figure is about correct. The opposing side stand at McD containing County fans, is considerably larger than the one at Broadwood (around 3000, compared to around 2300 at HQ) and was approx just over half-full. It's good to see steady, if small increases in lapsed returning fans. Even if, right now our numbers are roughly similar to the Firhill days and the 93 title season at ODP, a crowd target surely has to be set to present standards. I din't think 800 every home game is too much to ask.
  6. Which disagreements did/do you have with him? I personally think we're indebted- in a very good way- to the results he has shown a ruthlessness to achieve. The crowd was 4,062. So, a bit less than a few thousand....
  7. The present run of form certainly deserves a greater turnout, which i think showed itself at Coatbridge last week. The only thing preventing a four-figure number on Saturday, imo would be the lack of publicising the event beyond those who already attend. I expect a larger than normal away crowd, given that a win would virtually seal their title. Im not too sure though that we're the envy of our contemporaries. The smaller clubs with whom we have historical correspondence, such as East Fife, Stirling, Dumbarton and the Angus clubs, have been appreciative of the atmosphere usually brought. Hence, visits there are generally fun. Among the current lot (Stirling excepted), we are genuinely disliked. Whatever the reason, i don't care.
  8. That's a good start. Get it said, and out there. As for the latter point, i certainly hope so. Pointing out/causing rifts, i suppose it's all the same.
  9. Let's keep the different offences apart, shall we. I've lost count of the number of times a player has picked up a booking, to hear a fellow supporter comment that he had broken a threshold and would be suspended. In our case, the time for recalling players had passed. Why this wouldn't be known by a) those who can rhyme off the suspension procedure (therefore perhaps also bring the transfer one to attention), or b) the club official with the issue left in his hands, is the problem. For what its worth, Lennon, in his statement mentioned about "fixing Declan up with another club" - there are CLEAR rules, about players appearing for three clubs in a season. He may already have done- we signed him in September. There appears, in my belief, a serious problem with questioning procedures and individuals at our club and has been for years. This is what happens under those circumstances.
  10. You seem far more "raging" over Berwick's position in this than our own, wherein we could have gone top this week. Pathological altruist alert. Were you also as "raging" during the time when we WERE in Berwick's position, not two years ago, and all of our own accord, and without outside influence?
  11. Given that there's no scope for an online facility keeping tabs on eligibility, i'm amazed at the logic, that if we ALL follow THIS procedure, then everyone would inevitably get done, for something at some point. All we have to do is wait for it to level itself out, right? It's a very good job there's lots of you jumping to the defence of the culprit, Haufdaft- some of those holding up the carpet and the others doing the sweeping need a rest from time-to-time. Good of you to step in.
  12. definitely not. I was pointing out in terms of us being punished they are collateral damage. In truth it's a total embarassment on our part if it's not reversed then their visit to broadwood near the end of the season in terms of the boardroom can only be described as awkward.
  13. I believe this to be true, but unfortunately it's just one of those things. You should see some of the garbage on the official site, for proper embarrassment.
  14. I'll assume the second sentence is a question. Far from being a "know it all", i have no idea why a"few think they are aloof". There's very little societal differences among the support (now, or 30 years ago) to justify why anyone would be "aloof". Perhaps this observation of yours is of a personality nature, than a class-related one. And even if it were the "best season in years", perhaps where a "few think they are aloof", others aren't as fickle, to simply go with the flow on it, and are "still not happy" for a reason. But as i said, i'm no "know it all", so i can only pre-empt any questions you have.
  15. Tbf, it (or they) existed a long time before him. He was nowhere near personable enough to gain the trust required in order to engineer a split, of any sort, of his own. I'd go so far as to say his presence alone, was a by-product OF an already-split fanbase.
  16. No, no. Let him have his wee rant. A good back-and-forth will at least air some grievances.
  17. And yet, here are YOU, purporting to "know it all" about many at the ground. Why don't you f**k off and ask them, what the problems are?
  18. If you need to ask, it doesn't matter. Really it doesn't.
  19. Is this the strength of the "positive" energy, then? Coupled with the apparent policing of emotions that you feel is needed at the game on Saturday, coupled with your own personal hatred towards an individual in the team which i found is quite a cancer among the support on Saturday- how does that stack up with the Three Blind Mice method of supporting the team/club?
