Has Watson been that bad? I’ve been to 5-6 games this season and been impressed with him. I know he’s not the finished article but i think he just needs games under his belt. And surely if he picks up an injury, Matthews could possibly cover? I feel we need another wide player, similar to Zanatta (but hopefully better). Someone who can win headers, a physical threat, create a chance or score from outside the box.

The guys just forked out almost a million pounds on a new surface. Not exactly a cheap way to pacify supporters.

Also for a man who tells us he’s apparently not good at communicating, I feel to know more about what’s going on at the club than I ever have thanks to him

I think he gave about 3 pairs away. Clearly trying to get the fans on side but really nice to see.

I personally can see us having a better season. The lack of goals last season was due to a lack if creativity, with Vaughan being played too deep to influence to forwards. With the likes of Gillespie and Wedderburn at the heart of the midfield allows Vaughan to sit further forward and hopefully create more chances and better his own tally for goals.

At this rate it’ll still be tarmac with jumpers for goalposts

I find it pretty unusual that there still hasn’t been any announcement about ticket pricing etc for tonight’s game. I shouldn’t be surprised though.

Without trying to sound negative, is another goal scorer what we need? Last season we lacked players who created chances for the strikers and I feel that’s what we’re still lacking. Someone who can unlock a defence with the right pass. Milne seems like a handy player to have but feel someone who creates those chances is more of a priority.

Disappointing to hear in the pre-match interview that it looks like we won’t be doing anymore business in the window. Would liked to have seen 1 or 2 more bodies in but just got to hope we can stay clear of injuries til the end of the season...

Where is this excellent form come from? He’s been absolutely rank and I have no idea how he got motm or team of the week. He was shocking in the east fife game, can’t take it to the touch line, can’t win a header, isn’t blessed with lightning pace. The only thing I like is when he cuts in on his right but this is something he hadn’t done enough in my opinion. Yes he may have scored more than Barr but Barr’s assist record this season was great. I’d like to see the funds used better elsewhere, hopefully with someone who provides more and better quality opportunities for the forwards.

I thought he started well with us but went down hill quickly!
