I quite like the ABZ Podcast. All about opinions at the end of the day. Think it’s the best one available to us as Dons fans. As for Roos, he’s a bit of an enigma. From February to May last season he was the best keeper in the league, bar none. Out with that he’s frustrating. Capable of great saves, but capable of moments where you wonder why he didn’t do better. I suppose it boils down to whether we can afford anyone better on our budget? Will be difficult I think. I quite liked Siegrist at Dundee Utd when he was there, but two successive managers at Celtic think Scott Bain is better than him now. And I think I’m better than Scott Bain. We’ll soon find out if we can replace Roos with similar or better as I think it’s pretty clear he’s heading elsewhere.

I think The Rangers are basically saying to the SFA “we don’t trust the integrity of one of your officials”. They should have the book thrown at them by the SFA, but they won’t, because the SFA are shit scared at upsetting them. See 2012 for evidence. It would be great if the SFA do agree to The Rangers request. Then, I’d look to Aberdeen to say to the SFA we don’t want Beaton, Walsh, McLean, Dallas Aitken etc, or any other supporter of that abhorrent organisation formerly known as “Rangers”, or any subsequent Tribute Act, to officiate at an Aberdeen v The Rangers game. Paraphrasing, I despise the SFA, but far more so, The Rangers FC, a disgusting organisation, from the very top, down to the very, VERY low, their fan base.

To be honest, today was the biggest vindication of us slagging him off for persisting with a 3-5-2 when it clearly wasn’t working. Only took him 5 months. Let’s hope it’s the norm.
