#GSC replied to BB_Bino's topic in Scottish League 1 General Chatter
Not at the game on Saturday again I take it ? -
Strange you’ve got that opinion when can’t recall seeing you at any away games this season so far .
-
Think you’ll find it’s a pronoun of the word you , as is youse, so looks like you and your three likers are the illiterate gimps
-
so you know nothing then Did he not leave yous for hibs ?
-
You know this for sure do you ? You his agent
-
Hometown ? Oh that’s right the stadium is in Grangemouth I’m sure if you asked him he’d knock yous back again
-
Definitely over committed, straight into McGregor’s cheekbone, luckily McGregor is made of stronger stuff than poor Finn

The squad is seriously too thin, but when you’ve only been given the same budget as last year you’re goin to struggle to get players in, middle of the park should’ve been strengthened, for me Davidson is out his depth, no dig and his passing is terrible, leitch spends most of the game chasing shadows or trying fancy flicks instead of the basics, plus he can’t last a full game. Gardyne bullied them on Saturday.

That’s twice you’ve commented on pabs being back and making a different, cmon mr McLean stop it. If you were at Annan last week you’d see why Clark was on the bench, he got tore a new one there. Would’ve been a bit unfair dropping Cummins or McGregor for your Pabs to start when either have hardly put a foot wrong ,
-
Where in the world was that a much better performance? What , because it was only 1-0 instead of 3-0 ? at least last week we made the keeper make saves, I can’t recall a decent shot on goal on Saturday , the attacking players are giving nothing just now .

I’d say he’s been outstanding the last 3 games

I agree, Kyle makes a big difference when he plays, as you say he let’s the others get forward, leitch on the other hand runs about like a headless chicken, he was ok ish at the weekend, had a decent game Tuesday, but the two games before that all he did was chase shadows , yes he scored in both games but that was it. You’re right about Davidson too, he was playing well for a bit but he’s not been as good recently, passing definitely is poor, but DY won’t drop him. -

I’d say Cummins is playing well since he came back in, if anything the shaky one is Pabs just now, last few games he’s made a few errors and been easily caught for pace with attackers. Playing constantly every week is tiring those legs I think. Doesn’t look like McGregor’s getting a shot again, both centre half’s played the second half on Tuesday on a yellow and he didn’t even look like he’d take one off to keep them for yesterday. -
That’s because he was sent off, he has to leave the pitch and go to the changing room, so unless you were on there you wouldn’t have seen him being treated
-
Who mentioned burst nose? I said mouth,
-
Nope, hit him square in the face, burst his mouth , loosened his front teeth. Ref played on and indicated it hit his chest, it was the linesman who was 50 yards away in the opposite half who said he hand balled it

I think they’re better than ok, this almost same defence were one of the best in the league 2 seasons ago, we only didn’t win games because we didn’t have goal scorers, just like last season, if you don’t score you don’t win, simple, and the defence can only hold out so long with teams battering them all game with no help from the rest. As for launching it, when that and passing it back to the keeper is the only option then that’s what you do, the midfield don’t show for the ball and if they do it comes right back to the defence
-
I’d say the defence are defending, one goal from the four in the league could be blamed slightly in the defence, the first goal last week at Dumbarton,Cummins should’ve shut down the man and not let the cross over, Blaire should’ve definitely saved it, McLean should’ve marked the scorer. The other three well we agree the midfield can’t defend I think you’re bonkers if you think McLean and Mcgeachie are a good centre half pairing. McGregor rash, in what way? because he gives and goes for everything ? McLean and McGregor is the better pairing by a country mile, if McLeans out McGregor and Cummins aren’t too bad, but if you lose McGregor , McLean and Cummins doesn’t work . Cummins at right back so far has scored and got 2 assists , I don’t think he’s playing too bad, he wants the ball, mcgeachie doesn’t show enough, hence the reason the ball gets launched or passed to the left. Clark isn’t the answer at left back, I thought after the Alloa game he might have been if he would just cross the ball when forward instead of playing it to Debholm all the time, but that’s been his best game. I think the best bet would be to play a back three of McGregor,McLean and Cummins, that way the midfield can have an extra man . As it is the now , the way they set up is almost 4,2,4 as the wingers are always up in line with the forwards. Last thing , I think young josh deserves to start, gives everything , obviously because he’s looking to impress , but he’s quick and had it to go by players
