Being a keeper is a tough gig, you’re right he has been pretty solid but has (consistently) made wee mistakes for Brechin, and that’s behind a defence which concedes some of (if not the) lowest number of chances. In a weaker team he would be facing more shots, who knows what would happen.

He deserved to be dropped for the howler against the broch. Wasn’t even really under pressure, there was no excuse for that. And also, he may be transfer listed, but who will be buying him? Don’t mean that in a bad way like.

The 1st of January is 2 weeks away, it would take that shambles as long to sort out a dispensation that there’s no point.

Formartine are league title challengers and the broch won the league the season before last, let’s not dress these games up as if they were against the dross of the league they weren’t. And as other have said Andy didn’t exactly have the measure of Fraserburgh either, our only loss last season was at NLP. I can’t say been impressed with the football played the last 3 games, but it’s always going to be hard coming into a club where the going has been so good and trying to continue that. But we need 9 points to finish off the year, if not I’ll join the grumbling voices.

Morton let that clown down easy, if he actually did impress they’d have found the money for him. I’d be very surprised if it was us offering him a deal, it just so far away from the method which Andy has secured players so far.
