What was wrong with playing Hutton in the West Final? Or the statement for that matter? According to the WOS & SJFA there was nothing wrong with it. No rules were broken. I would imagine you would want to field your strongest 11 to win the cup no? Probably not though as it still doesn’t fit your bitter agenda wanting the club to fail.
If Hutton wasn’t good enough to be in Pollok’s squad then they would have had nothing to worry about surely…..
Again your not involved at the club you do not know the ins and outs and the goings on behind the scenes, it’s all Chinese whispers again about bonuses and other reasons he has been sacked etc etc.
Until the club comes out with a statement on why he was sacked you will never know.
And you are nuts if you think the clowns that run the circus that is darvel will come out with a truthful statement about Tony's departure.

Gary holt rumour any truth.

When's Gall leaving?
After he becomes manager and leads them out on cup final day the man's ego knows no boundaries.

Revolt at Darvel. Tony mac and John Gall were arguing at the side of the park. Gall went into changing room after the game and said Tony and his backroom team are sacked with immediate effect. The players are threatening not to turn up to the Talbot game on monday
Comedy gold.

We get the cup for beating you 4 times in a row in the league
Is that what you base success on .

Any word if the first leg is ticket only and how many Darvel will get, we have announced that the 2nd leg is ticket only which I personally don't see the point in.
You will get what you need for the home game two and one for the dug.

Our starting 11 is still as strong as any at this level and arguably still the strongest, where other teams have advantage over us is size of squad and depth of cover. We weaken the team making subs not saying bad players however just not the quality of bench we had in the last couple of years.
Players know they are being paid until the end of the season, I can't see any player throwing a chance of a scottish cup medal, might be wring but other than GWilson, Leishman and Jordan Moore no one else has one? If they are prepared to down tools when they have chance of being scottish champions then shouldn't be playing football. I could perhaps understand the league, slight niggle and they might go ouch I'll just rest, I think every player in the squad will be right up for scottish.
My point regarding tucker v tony in the final is that he is one of the few managers that has managed to beat tucker in the final.
I think we have 16/17 first team players when I counted, someone can give you a more arcuate answer than me on that, after that it is u20s players, who by all accounts are a decent side, lost a final there and looking like winning their league. From talking to people that regularly watch the u20s, they say they have some good players, we have seen small glimpses of some however it was noted that still probably a bit off this level and would be benefitting from going out on loans to the likes of Irvine Vics, Lugars those sort of teams if they are serious about their development, quite a few comments made about lack of loanees from the u20s. So although there is some good lads they are perhaps too green and ideally the u20s would be sending their better players out to lower level junior sides for the remainder of the season in order to benefit the players and give them better chance of first team football with us next season. No disrespect to u20s however I would rather see players come through the system than be held at a development league just to win a title. Ultimately it is a development league, the best u20s players are littered throughout the lower divisions and getting a far better education.
Let's not get arrogant where vice and Lugar with you loaning players before pie money and marching powder money you were glad of loan players or were you not an attendee at that time.

No, that is like saying we beat aberdeen so any team aberdeen beats we would be them.
For me for whatever reason Talbot are a machine in cup finals, that said Tony has already beaten them in a final. I'd rather cash in over their crowds and have better chance of beating them than play them in a one off game in the final of a competition that has been effectively their baby since the mid 80s.
Don't get me wrong our starting 11 beats theirs all day long however how players react in finals is what makes them.
I would have agreed a couple of months ago about your starting 11 but now that the money and such like has gone I don't know if the extra mile is there. I would also think tucker would have beaten Tony's team more often than not .

What is the preference for the semi final? I personally would take Auchinleck, would like another victory at beechwood plus would rather not meet them in final although beating them in the final would be incredible. My only concern with meeting them in the final is the experience they have in the final plus for the first time in a long time they will be underdogs.
Not sure about Johnstone Burgh, I know they have spent heavily however with players being signed throughout the season I am not sure who in their squad is cup tied etc...not seen them play so can't comment what they are like. I think a lot would depend on who is cup tied. Meant to check their team for the last game but never got round to it. The likes of rossiter and the boys from Pollok they signed I don't know if they are cup tied.
Arthurlie would fancy our chances against.
I know on the final it is a one off game however realistically I would be expecting to get to it given our starting 11.
Is your thoughts based on the fact Talbot beat Hurlford and Hurlford beat your lot.

Nelly at RB still seems weird AF. Just so accustomed to seeing him at CB. I'm always a fan of players being used in their natural positions to get the best from them, which for him is 100% in central defence.
Gareth Armstrong was signed as a full back.

I think they could have cut players but I don't think boylen is onein that bracket ,my opinion is why resign Glasgow to let boylen go just my opinion.

I totally get that talbot wouldn’t be willing to help accommodate us due to some of John’s comments in particular when we won the league.
I still think financially it makes sense to move it. We would have a diminished crowd due to the old firm being on.
Doesn't matter who you lot play your home and away crowd is crap.

Sorry I've misread that. I'm hearing Bonnyton are in trouble and thats what I'm referring to.

Its painful to watch.
I wish the players were hurting as much as the fans as some of them dont look as if they give a dam and are just having a kickabout with their mates.
I can assure you the players are hurting every bit as much as the fans you can be certain of that.

I did predict this would happen and I don’t want Talbot to go down as it’s a great place to go to but even as early as next week if you don’t beat meadow you are in serious trouble , surely the purse strings must be opened or is it the management that can’t recruit players ?
Come on Jim there's a difference opening the purse strings that is sustainable or opening the purse strings and spending dirty money.
