  1. As for them across the road, the firesale wouldn't be out of place at Errol carboot sale in the final hour when people are left without a penny and in the realisation that they need to get rid of the gargantuan amount of garbage expensively amassed over years. It's time for the likes of Fletcher to find a new home for a few years before finally being discarded into the skip by the owner as the recognition of their property being absolutely finished (Anti Niemi) comes over them. Their starting line up is starting to resemble a mediocre Championship side and whether they win the league or not this season years of cost cuts and mediocrity lie ahead. If we can't stamp our foot on the neck of these diddies and stamp our position in the City now then i'm afraid we never will. Make it be Dundee FC. Thank you.
  2. As much as i love the Dee, can't stand friendlies so won't be attending. Thinking about Bonnyrigg next week as it's a competive game of sorts and one of the stadiums i assume many need haven't been to. Roll on the proper stuff on August 5th though. Enjoyed the break but now i'm beginning to get a surge of anticipation to get right in about these top league diddy merchants. Fine lyrics that sum up the situation in the following song, knowing that i'll be a frothing mess in four months time, but i'll tell you what - i'm fucking ready to get on the Derry rollercoaster once again. Strap yourselves in folks. Thank you.
  3. French Shaugnessy Mexian-Nutter Beck I'm automatically tagging the Mexican as a nutter and will continually do so for the remainder of his time at Dens, even if he turns out to be a complete bag of bones. Even with Ashcroft coming in for Portales you'd have to hope that back four can give more than our feeble attempts of defending two years ago. Saying that i'd really love us to now sign a proper defensive midfielder sitting infront of them allowing the likes of Cameron, McCowan, Tiffoney and Robinson to link up ahead. Thank you.
  4. Spot on. Carson would've been perfect as everyone could've been safe in the knowledge that Legzdins would be the stand in but not first choice. As it is we need to hope this young lad has enough to kick on and be a stand out at this level. Fully prepared to give him that chance. A goalkeeper is the most important position for a newly promoted team. That Utd team in two seasons ago who reached Europe purely done so through Siegrist. Every derby was an even match and how they made Europe was incredible. The signs were there that their honking team were on the verge of collapse and thankfully agent Ross decided that was when to deliver the fatal blow. A squad of 19 so far if i'm right. Five more required in the right positions which i have down as : Left Back Centre back Centre Mid Winger Striker Throw in a utility player and our usual signing of a foreign huddy who won't make it into the squad all season and we're ready to go. f**k the Dabs as always. Thank you.
  5. Fear not @Fifespud, merely priming myself for another season of P&B telts amongst the next batch of Diddies who we will encounter. That of course being the purposeless, hopeless and valueless stains on football such as Livi, The County, The St Mirren and of course Perth. I'll show a modicum of respect to the rest as I'm a realist not a delusionist. Radfords knickers still dry on the the washing line in rural Perthshire after his pish stained tear laden thumps of the keyboard deleted the original Dundee FC thread created by yours truly under my original account. I am still here however and don't intend on that changing. Unfortunately a succession of RandomGuys posts in the same evening was enough to suddenly induce a coma by boredom. Thankfully on rising it wasn't all a dream that the Filth across the road were demoted to their natural position in Scottish football. What's been irritating me of late is those in the workplace and beyond. 'You must be sad there's no derbies though'. I couldn't be happier cuntos. These Dayglo shower of fuds now reside in the Championships with utter dregs of the Scottish game such as the Morten and The Airdrie. If it was upto me they'd slip down the leagues until they were playing at their true home pitch somewhere in outer East Angus. The silence in here really does sum up their shitebagness. Dundee could get pumped 8 -0 at Tannadice and I'd still be in the Utd thread telling Granny Danger he's a wee ferret of a man. I look forward to another season of Dundee ups and downs, i wouldn't have it any other way. The weekends of no football are slowly grating on me like these americanised baby gender reveals that is now common place in society. I can be found in supermarkets at 4.20pm on a Saturday erratically bursting into a yell of 'Shite Lino' as my weekly outburst at the Derry linesman or referee spurts out like clockwork. The linesman at Dens could be having the game of his life and award three offside goals to Dundee but he'll still be getting called every name under the earth from the Derry. Brilliant. My opinions on the squad are being kept until the season starts, so for now I simply stalk like a Lion in the wild awaiting the roasters and whollopers to come to the thread so I can pounce on them and tear them to strips. The Queens fans used to be worse than the Perth in here for a while the past season. Another set of diddies massacred however much like the Cowdenbeath years ago - these pub outfits never learn. Time ticks closer a new season with this club full of history and tradition. As i always say its in the blood with this club. Can't wait. Thank you.
  6. Forgot all about Old Tam. Does anyone remember him being outed last season as being pished on the train back from a Saintees game giving it big licks to a load of perth youngsters. Been very quiet since then actually has The Tree House. Pishing myself remembering it. Thank you.
  7. Good evening lesser of the diddies. Of course that isn't including The Livi and The Perth who belong festering with The Accies in the seaside leagues. Thank you.
  8. Thank f**k Sweeney wanted to move on. 'New and improved deal'. Deary me, Dundee. As it stands whether it was actually the clubs intention or not we are in a stronger position. Another centre back in on a decent wage I'd presume replacing Sweeney. Thank you.
  9. Not for me. I'll never praise application and full effort. I expect that from every single footballer who puts on the Dark Blue top. Our club is failing year in year out due to the playing staff and I want better. We as a club should be doing better aswell. Ashcroft re-signs, he can be fine as a squad player. Not too disappointed with that. Ideally we would only be keeping one out of him and Sweeney however. Thank you.
  10. County defending like Beavers. Great to see. If they get away with 2 0 it's not over. Thank you.
  11. Don't get me wrong I don't mind Gowser that much and he was never the biggest problem over the years. He deserves thanks for his years at the club doing his best and giving us some great moments. My point is just that he shouldve been binned years ago and taking away his character he was slap bang average at best over his tenure at Dens. You're right he's had to put up with alot of terrible players such as Kerr around him. If anyone's watching Partick tonight and can see McMillans performance it's scary what we need to put up with. Thank you.
  12. I wonder if any other club would be treating an attacking midfielder as a club legend with 21 goals over 300+ games and nine years. It works out a goal every fourteen+ games. Thank you.
  13. As for Marshall, McMullen and Jakubiak they've all given good moments throughout their time, but them leaving can be a good thing going forward. If McMullen didn't come in the January window under McPake we wouldn't of went up. Against top six opposition though he couldnt cut it and invariably looked like a wee boy. Marshall initially was very good and even this season has created a good few goals. His defending just isn't upto it. Jakubiak has been nursed through injury at an expense and finally started to show he's a decent player; hopefully his next club doesn't reap the benefits too much or its a mistake from us. Sheridan doesn't warrant a review. From the moment he signed it was another McPake howler. Next to go now has to be Robertson. Seems to me he has a lack of desire and is happy to be a bit part. He doesn't deserve a contract with what he's produced over years and when he played against Arbroath in January let's make it clear that he looked way below the standard required and played a big part in us losing that day. He's got great vision and technical ability nobody can argue with that. He's simply way off it in pretty much every other aspect however and the gaps when he's in midfield are scary. Go and play a full season in the Championship and progress your career would be my advice if there's any sort of self belief there. Playing for the reserves at Dundee won't do him any favours. Thank you.
  14. About time we passed on Gowser. A good first season under Hartley and from then in he's been very average with some good and some woeful games including 3 relegations. At the age he is now he's not what we need for the top league. The standards he set are missing on me as he played in multiple 6 2 defeats to Utd and was one of the worst players on the pitch against Cove away earlier in the season. Alot of the time he screamed at players for giving it away then went on to exactly that within the same game. Our fans demand better but are happy to accept average players, albeit McGowans character making him the lovable staff member - joined in with the he hates coppers song many a times. My memory of McGowan will be of someone who gave us some great moments and gave his all every game whether that was good enough or not. All the best Gowser and thanks for the moments. Hopefully the club has showed some loyalty which Gowser can be just as thankful for in return. No hero status for me, but a few fond memories to remember of the wee nutter in an all round decade of abjectness for the club. Thank you
  15. If we're looking for experience I'd far rather we got the likes of Richard Tait who has just been released from St Mirren as backup than the likes of Kerr. I'll let that one go now though. Moving forward, surely one of the first announcements to be made is Sheridan being released. With it being 1st June tomorrow and contracts officially expiring can see an announcement tomorrow. I hope so anyway. Thank you.
  16. I've been waiting on this clear out since the McPake era. Got myself positive for this summers window only to be horrified in a 24 hour period at the realisation it's all going to be the same shit. Legzdins was pathetic last time in the Prem and cost us so many points. He's only got older and slower. As a no.3 the re-signing is okay along with helping the youths. No matter what now we're a couple of injuries away from having Kerr and Legzdins in our starting eleven throughout the season. Utter pish Dundee. My optimism is shattered and we need to nip these renewals in the bud. The only other ones that are acceptable in some way will be Jakubiak, Ashcroft, Mulligan and McCowan. Sweeney not worth blowing a fuse over but anyone else and we're on the road to relegation already. Thank you.
  17. Thank you. Complete joke from the club year in year out. No fan going on about his commitment or standards is going to cover the fact he's shite at football and nowhere near the standard we need to progress. There's about 5 players from last years championship who are better right backs than Cammy Kerr. Wait until we're in the relegation spots come February and let the same people complain about the squad (of course Cammy will not be the problem for another episode of failure as always). Liam Smith who just got binned from Utd is better than Kerr and can't even get a game for the DABs in the championship. The mindset of the fans at this club on Kerr is a disgrace. Thank you.
  18. Hurtful to see us accepting below even mediocrity in signing Kerr on a 2 year deal. Don't care how good a lad he is and committed to the cause its just a clear sign of Dundee FC accepting the status of being yo-yo standard pish and not striving for anything better. I don't get it. Despondent when i seen the news earlier; if i start to see the likes of Legzdins, Marshall, Sweeney and Robertson re sign i'll be wishing we stayed down in months to come. If Bowyer stayed i think the majority would've been gone. Today after this I'm thinking a more lenient new comer will give chances to those who should be long gone. Worrying times. Reading someone say Kerr can play 4 positions (I've yet to see him successfully own one positon) is enough to make me wonder whether my skull is operating on a different plane. I couldn't give a f**k about those who think because different managers sign him up over years he's proven to be worth a deal. I'm more invested than any moron like McPake in the club and my eyes don't lie. Another two years before I can hope to finally see the end of these horrendous neverending years of Kerr-ball. f**k off. Thank you.
  19. In most other businesses you work your way up through experience and showing capability to progress within whatever role you've been performing in. Docherty has years behind him and should have the knowledge and understanding of the Scottish game to beable to make the step up. I rate McInness highly despite his DAB past and have so since St Johnstone were playing brilliant in the Championship years ago. In any other business it would be nailed on for 'promotion' with the CV, unless the guy had a disciplinary record akin to Gowser. Just watched Docherty's interview on DeeTV and he spoke well. All the very best Tony - the name Tony is popular amongst us Dees at the moment with the Fat One over the roads antics this season before departure. Make this continue, please. Thank you.
  20. Unexpected one. Can see some sort of logic to it, but it's certainly a gamble. Let's see what the summer brings. Thank you.
  21. Fair play to the Ayr fans in largely still being in attendance. If it was a club like Dundee Utd for example they'd all be leaving their players behind. Thank you.
  22. I pronounce Dundee United relegated. Lorraine Kelly, Peter Pawlett, Tangerine Boiler Suited morons, Hooley, Johnny Russell, The Snug Bar, Granny Danger, Friockheim, Montrose and the outer regions of East Angus, all the twats who have switched sides for 'success', John Rankin, Sieb Dijkstra, The Banter Bus, Fife Arabs, Paul Sturrock and Alfie fae Lochee. Get it round every single one of you DAB associated fannies. Natural order has been restored in the City of Dundee. I hope United rot in the lower leagues for many years to come. Whatever the length of time it goes without saying that Gibby82 will still have his 70s blonde ABBA Hairstyle perched on his quite frankly embarassing nut whilst Granny Danger will remain a burden on our NHS with his intake of food. As Dundee fans like to do on here we must Thank some special people. Mark Birghitti, Agent Jack Ross and Fat Tony Ashgar. All are welcome at Dens anytime they like. A delightful roaring crescendo tonight in the final ten minutes as the boos rang out whilst the unorganised march back to Angus and The Snug began. This season has been quite incredible in the success of these unorganised marches down Tannadice way- not so much the organised ones. Thankfully the Tears and Snotters from Yenited fans can be readily washed away from the faces, I'm sure the 'Flag Team' of Tannadice can cut nice squares out of the 'Premier team representing the City' flag that was unfurled at the last derby and dish them out to the poor wummin and Children that make up the healthy majority of Tannadice who will be in emotional tatters this evening. What a lovely season to be a Dark Blue. As most know it's in the blood with Dundee fans and the following of the club goes back generations. Many who seen the uprising of the vile Dayglo fuds across the road will be smiling down from above tonight as Dundee once again are the finest team in the City. Roll on Sunday Thank you.
  23. Didn't mean to red dot. Courts is a strange one. For me i'd rather have Davidson any day. It's now obvious that Davidson was all but set up and plans had to be changed at the last minute. We really need to be looking to get the manager in by this weekend whoever it is anyway. As for the likes of Lawlor being announced at Doncaster it's a complete lack of class from the club not to be wishing these players all the best for the future and thanking them for their time at Dens. Complete amateur hour. Speaking of amateur hour, i'll be giving the match at Tannadice a watch on Wednesday via dodgy stream. If they go down i really believe the crushing blow to finances would see them struggling for years to come; make no mistake their budget this season was for a European run alongside top 6 minimum. On the other hand if they stay up will we see an absolutely terrible Dayglo team who we can ragdoll on their own patch after many a year. An interesting week ahead. Thank you.
