  1. Football not reached the Highlands yet. Pathetic attempt from the Staggies with kicking and hoofing the name of the game. Stick to Shinty and log tossing cause you lot are a minter to Scottish football. Thank you.
  2. Disappointed the only way Docherty thought we could compete with County was to match their horrendous long ball game. Atrocious game of football which was played in the completely opposite way to suit the players we had starting in midfield. Build a squad of technical players and have them bypassed while hoofing it - strange one. Clearly missing Cameron, Tiffoney and Robinson as options from the bench tonight. Think Mulligan would've made a difference too. At the end of the season not getting beat from your competitors is vital. Its more the rancid display that's hard to take tonight. At least it's been far from the norm this season. Positives were Lamie and Portales at times. Carson probably saved us from losing a game we would've with Legzdins in goal. We move on swiftly and never bring that game to mind again. Thank you.
  3. Get to a four at the back and attempt to play some football Dundee ffs. Only the second really woeful half of the season - St Mirren away first half being the other. We improved ten folds in the second half that match so lets hope it's the same. Unfortuntely, the bench isn't looking much use. Can see us losing this 1 0. Thank you.
  4. I don't think the uncovered prices are that bad to be honest (under £20 for over 65s and upto age of 21). £26 is pretty much the average price nowadays whether that's right or wrong. When you've got the Diddy clubs charging the same or thereabouts I wouldn't be missing what should be a bigger and better atmosphere than usual. Its about the same price in the Championship for cesspits like Hamilton and Greenock. £30 for covered is poor though for adults, absolutely. A bigger scandal is the train return being £35 without railcard which I've just had a scout at. The countries fucked. Thank you.
  5. Football on from midday, ideally no rugby morons watching on other screens. Possibly a pool table/darts board, good music and a lack of Fit Likes, although I accept its their city so will accept a maximum of 23 of them. Googled it, looks like a great shout for some point that day. Thank you.
  6. I always like the fallback of a game in hand. Alot of people can't comprehend it (remember the Queens morons last season when they went by points and not the fact they had played several more games than us). There's nothing to fear in the league this season IMO. Looking forward to Aberdeen (A). Anyone know decent pubs etc central? With our years in the championship etc it's not somewhere I know as well as I should. Bit gutted when an international break comes around as its not for me. As others have said though will give the likes of the Mexicans further time to bed in and time for the Doc to further get his ideas across. Elsewhere I hear there was a 90 minutes silence held by the away support at Starks Park on Saturday by the Dayglo's. Thank you.
  7. We already have the Saints (could pick either but Perth in particular) and the Livi to play the character of the overachieving diddies in this league. You're right though, Dingwall is a nice area and the Highlands in general is beautiful. Your streets are beginning to be filled with Celtic and Rangers tops with Green Bridgade stickers strewn across the town centre. It's a shame, but if you lot stick to foxhunting and Shinty and leave the football to the proper clubs and cities then maybe you can preserve the quaint vibe that Dingwall had for many years. Your Highland, moron, ignoramous attitude is shining through with your last comment. Sitting up on your rock on the hilltops in the Highlands may not be the finest venue for scouting the opposition. If County are relying on the mighty Yan Dhanda to shine in every game this season then they infact might truly be on their way to reaching league two and below - where they belong. Owen Beck will be the best player on the park come Saturday. When your owner finally throws in the towel (it won't last forerver) I can assure you Dundee will still be around the Championship as a minimum as we have been since 1893 whilst you diddies are playing the Brechin on a cold Tuesday night. Time waits for no man; Tick tock. Thank you.
  8. Been told supporters clubs have had 1200 allocation confirmed, with 200 reserve. Public sale 09th Oct. Thank you.
  9. Excellent choice, I particularly enjoy rolling the windows down and blaring Like a Rolling Stone. The Bob Dylan talk has reminded me of an old guy I used to work with who always wanted Subterranean Homesick Blues on. Put that ane with the '20 years of schooling and they'd put you on the day shift' line he'd ask for four times a week. Made his day. What a man. Thank you. It's much better this season, apart from the Mullet of the guy presenting the weekly match preview. Looks fucking ridiculous and I wonder if anyone actually tells him. Sometimes in life you need to be telt straight. It's not funny, it's not unique and it's certainly a minter to all concerned with Dundee FC for the poster boy of Dee TV to have a hairdo even Stevie Wonder would take umbrage to. Thank you.
  10. Seven matches played and Dundee haven't looked out of place in either of them. That's good enough for me right now after eye bleeding times for the majority of the last decade. Did Nelms and Co actually make a great decision to boot Bowyer after the team were booed off in the second last game of our previous season due to insipid football against the mighty Cove Rangers? People were quick to vent in the summer but right now it looks like our club is moving in an upward direction. It's a well done for the summer business from me at the moment, however very aware it's only seven games in. County at home is a great chance to progress and with Aberdeen up after that I've not seen a big away crowd up there since the Bonetti days (6pm perfect for a day out in Aberdeen). With 1300+ at Hibs it seems alot are realising the effort of this current team we have. A team the fans can be proud of at venues like Easter Road. Another week and another happy punter - we're in strange territory. It's good to have some belief in a Dundee team at long last. Thank you.
  11. Wouldn't be so sure about that. It's not an 'effort' either, simply my opinion. How many will you be bringing down for this? Can we expect triple figures? A game that sucks the energy out what's been a positive start to the season for Dundee. A reason why many want to see relegation for your diddy club. Nonetheless a win would be massive and one thing is for sure - the best player on the pitch will be playing for the home side at left back. Thank You.
  12. Propping the rugby alongside Dundee FC in any discussion will result in foul and abusive language in future I'm afraid DeeTillEhDeh. As for the County it's sad after we all seen the respect given to a proper club in Hibernian that the week after is such a shunt to Diddyness. Get these fermers out the top league with the Perth this season for the good of the game I say. Thank you.
  13. My team for tomorrow: Carson Kerr Shaugnessy Lamie Beck Boateng Sylla McCowan Cameron Lewis Bakayoko I've seen nothing of Lewis but I certainly have seen enough of Robinson being played as a winger. If Lewis isn't capable of starting then he's a waste of space in our squad. Robinson has done very well at tracking back etc, but if he's to play then I want it to be as an out and out striker where he was comfortable last season. Cameron has only ever had shockers out wide so I'd be putting McCowan back out there for this one. McGhee and Tiffoney both out. Thank You.
  14. Two institutions of Scottish football with a grand past of gargantuan European triumphs, league titles and history down the ages. Hopefully the fans get the game the fixture deserves. Thank you.
  15. Hard being a Dundee fan and saying so after our last decade, but right now don't think it's that unrealistic. If teams like St Mirren, Motherwell and Killie can harbour these thoughts then from what i've seen this season there's not much between the teams. That doesn't change the fact I'm happy to stay up, but it looks like we can compete in most games we'll play. Whether the results fall in our favour will dictate where we end as in tight games there's small margins which we've seen with the Perth domination and inside of the post against Motherwell. One thing is for sure we're entering games with the best Keeper and left back in nearly all the games we'll face. After Hibs A, County H, Aberdeen A it'll be staring us in the pus where the seasons aims lie. Thank you.
  16. Must be worrying for the Killie fans when the ref is on your side and you still can't win. At least he got you a point. Thank you.
  17. Today's refereeing was fucking atrocious, even taking away the big decisions. The game changes on the sending off though and got to be happy with the draw. Up until the sending off Mulligan was looking very good, let's hope sense prevails and his red is rescinded as he's exactly the type of player we need at Easter Road. Becks far too good for this level and a stick on to win POTY. Lucky to have the boy so make the most of watching him every week folks. As for the Rudden I'm not suddenly going to change my mind on him but he should enjoy the moment as he's earned us a great point in the end. Work hard to make sure you give us more moments like that in your next displays and the tide may begin to turn. Robinson is struggling big time but Docherty is playing him out wide and he continually looks fucked after tracking back (which he's doing well). He's not being played in a role where we should expect many goals but his overall performances do need to improve such as his hold up and linking. As I've said at other points this season if we fell to loss today I would've clapped at the end. Believe me I've not felt like that in many a year through the constant clusterfucks including many points last season. The team has improved hugely and Docherty has us watching a team full of grit and determination. The games at Dens this season have been a great watch. I'm content and with Easter Road and Pittodrie up in the next three games it's days out you long for when facing the Shite like Morten and Hamilton. I think we'll be just fine this season, get us a stadium update and the Perth down and we're moving forward slowly but surely. Thank you.
  18. My team for Saturday: Carson Kerr Shaugnessy Lamie Beck Boateng Mulligan McCowan Cameron Tiffoney Bakayoko Time to bring in Cameron who really struggled the first two games and needs to show something (don't care if he scored in game one). Howley looks no better than Mulligan who i thought done really well in his brief spell at Celtic Park. Still think if he'd replaced Robinson late on in Perth we wouldn't have went on to gift the diddies a point. Kerr is atrocious but i don't like McGhee at RB - he was the cause for Perths first goal with his lack of closing the opposition down which is probably why he was dropped for Celtic. To be fair to Kerr he's not been at his worst against Hearts and Celtic. Including Mulligan going forward, that's five who should be able to break at speed along with Beck on the left. Leaves us the option of Robinson (if fit) and Lewis off the bench late on if required. Obviously wanting a win but it's a game we can't lose. Not been a game i've been despondent with so far this season which is unusual so hopefully that continues. Thank you.
  19. Hanging out with the DD5 on the verge of DAB territory. Ponce. Thank You.
  20. We have to score that chance but you always get another one with a half remaining. As long as we can keep it within reach into the last ten minutes the morons in the stans may sway the game our way. Bakayoko and Robinson not giving us enough. Tiffoney for one of them would help, especially as the game progresses. Owen Beck the best player on the pitch. Thank you.
  21. Another chapter in our club accepting the Dundee born Kerr over a better player. Ah well, it's been going on for around a decade now, I'm not even going to argue it anymore. Thankfully this season we look like we have a squad that is very capable on the whole which should lessen my disdain on the right back matter. It's clearly done as we have McGhee and Kerr for that position (Mulligan if needed) and it's an expense that can be cut. With the likes of Lamie signing and Connolly coming back into training the centre back options are overfilled and for all we know French wants to play as a CB. Docherty was in the press just yesterday saying French will be returning so it could be the players choice. French was outstanding at Ibrox last season in a back three. The right business decision but the wrong player going out. The first to be culled should be Kerr (RB) and Ashcroft (CB). Thank you.
  22. We shouldn't be backing down to these West Coasts fannies. I say that, but we all know that sadly the buses swarm in from all over. We've got young players looking really good who should be looking to step up in games like such as Beck and Boateng. We have seasoned professionals like Shaugnessy and Carson and McCowan finally finding a bit of consistency (Currently our best player). Most of all however, we have a manager who should actually be capable of putting together a game plan. Don't get me wrong, i'm not saying i expect us to go there and win but i do expect us to compete to a level right now with anyone in the league. I'll certainly not be accepting a pummeling straight away in this fixture - i hear tickets have been selling better than expected in the away end. C'mon the Dee. Thank you.
  23. You could see how much it meant to St Johnstone getting their point against Dundee. Long season ahead and another 90 minutes of good football from Dundee. 32 matches to go before we can evaluate whether the champions league winning celebrations were justified or not from Perth. Until next time, diddies. Thank You.
  24. My major complaint from today would be why you'd take off Boateng. The sensible option would be bringing on Sylla to sit alongside him when the match is all but won. The likes of Mulligan and Kerr could've even helped late on for your McCowans and Robinsons who were flagging. Rudden can take every bit of blame he's given on social media. Not to pass the ball for an open goal is selfish and pathetic. He lost us guaranteed three points in that act and will have to face up to it. The seasons a marathon though and not a sprint. Four games in and we've not looked out of place, which is miles ahead of where we've been in recent years. Let the Perth celebrate like they've won the league and let's see where we are come May. Four games into the season and out of the two sets of supporters from today only one can harbour any sort of optimism for the near future. At many times in the past under the likes of McCann and McPake I just prayed for a team who could compete, give their all and maybe some entertainment alongside it. Every game so far this season I've enjoyed and left feeling good about these players. Fine tune the decisions Docherty and we're in for a good season. Plenty of talent in that squad and the likes of Beck today showed we have a season to look forward to rather than dread. We move forward. Thank You.
