  1. Nah, he's clearly got talent. Had a few really good moments going forward through him and he should've buried the header from the corner. He won't have many harder games in Scotland than up against Armstrong but in any case Dodgson will be our number one there. After a shocking opening few minutes think we've controlled the game and should've scored right at half time there. With Sharp and Ashcroft in our back line we'll concede again no doubt but that half really wasn't awful apart from conceding early. We have to accept it while we have shite like Legzdins still part of our squad. He threw in goal after goal the other year and only taken a minute for us to quickly be reminded how low we were. There's still hope IMO. Get Main and Robinson on ASAP and hope dross like Ashcroft and Sharp don't cost us further. Thank you.
  2. Don't be posting stats please it'll start to get the boring one drooling. Won't be long until he's along giving us pie charts of his defending, pythagorus thereom on his cone warm up drills and the speed, distance and time of his pre match meal to mouth ratio. Piss off before you start random. Thank you.
  3. Delighted with the Docs recruitment. When you think two years back to the dimwitted McPake bringing in Ibsen Rossi, Rudden, Niall McGinn, Jay Chapman and Vontae Campbell to save our skin in January. It's night and day since then. I called for McPake to be sacked since the first day he put pen to paper because he was an incompetent buffoon. He was actually a pretty poor defender aswell who continually gave away penalties and stupid fouls with his positioning, so how we trusted him to manage was a howler. Add in clowns like Neil McCann being applauded for having horseshite players play out from the back and Mark McGhee putting his heating off to win games and it's enough to make you weep. I can say right now I'm happy with the way the clubs going. Long may it last. Looking forward to tomorrow's tough match then a trip to Tynecastle where i'll be looking to dish out some Albert Kidd related verbal abuse to the Edinburgh fuds. Build a team and the fans will follow. Thank you.
  4. These posts are becoming tedious - especially when they're coming from clubs like the Paisley and Perth. Don't know who these diddies think they are these days. As for Astley it looks like an exciting prospect. Like that the deals including Main are extended beyond the summer giving them half a season to bed in before we need to kick on further next season. We continue to move forward, unfortunately I can only see a cup exit this Saturday however we shouldn't be lowering ourselves to talk of relegation battles this season. Looking for a solid few months in preparation for next season where we tear apart the likes of the DABs and look a season premiership unit under the Doc. Thank you.
  5. Agree with the doubters. Would imagine he'd play just behind Bakayoko. Could be good link up between Stewart, McCowan, Cameron etc however have my doubts over age and current suitability. Some things are best left in the past, but that said it'd be interesting to see what he could give us. Even if he doesn't have the pace his footballing brain won't be lost. It'd be good for him to leave on better terms after telling fans to f**k off after being put out the cup in a depressing midweek defeat to Peterhead in his final match. Thank you.
  6. Agreed - he continually gives the ball away with his atrocious passing but overall has been okay. He's definitely an improvement on your likes of Ashcroft, Sweeney, Fontaine etc but I'd be harsh and say we could get better for next season. He probably deserves a good crack at the second half of the season before he's written off though, hopefully he has a solid showing until May. Thank you.
  7. Not for me. As I watched him tear down the wing skinning boys left right and Chelsea I always thought to myself he'll be a huge gap to fill. He wasn't our player to get too excited about. If we get someone in this window it allows us to see their value to the club for the next few years also giving them the months to transition into the squad so they can settle in for the start of 24/25. I'll go out on a limb and say we'll be taking part in the Prem next season Beck or no Beck. We'll see what happens this month - if Beck reappears at the end there's no way I'll be upset about it that's for sure. Thank you.
  8. Is this the best thing for us? He's a level above in the Scottish Premiership and was a joy to watch but we'll be back to square one in May when he leaves for good. I'd much rather look to bring in someone with a view to next season. You could argue he could be the difference in an outside chance of top six however. Thank you.
  9. I'm pretty sure another season in the Championship would cause a financial implosion over the road. Huge pressure on Goodwin and Co over the next five months. With any luck it will be Perth v East Angus in a battle of the broke come May. Even of the DABs do make it up they've made the error of filling their squad with championship jobbers. Good times. Thank You.
  10. Since the day I signed upto P&B I've always posted facts and figures about this fine club whether harsh or not. All have been reasoned; little girls like Ludo don't like different views and attack. You just have to accept the Diddy bashing inbetween. That won't be stopping as the likes of Livi, Hamilton and Perth are horrid little stains on Scottish football and I am free to express my views. Thank you.
  11. 450K+ and he can go IMO. Great season where he's finally found a level of consistency, however against the likes of Celtic he still looks off it. We as a club need to start making profits from players we bring to the club and this would be a start. It's been non existent within our club for donkeys. The gap left would be a starting point for the likes of Mulligan, Cameron and Reilly to cement their ways in the top league. Of course I'd rather see him stay until the summer with the year left on his contract but if we're given an offer near the half million mark I'd totally understand the decision to sell if it was made. Thank you.
  12. Lee Ashcroft is available. Not played since August and hardly makes the bench for us. Played every week last season in our promotion and very able at Championship level. A no brainer IMO. Finn Robertson also available I'd presume. Happy to help. Thank you.
  13. Doesn't sound like much of a scrape, luckily Morten have now taught you the meaning of a scraped win. Thank you.
  14. The title race heats up as the faltering Arabs are whipped by the Morten. Inverness away for the DABs in a must win live Friday night. Oh Dear. Thank you.
  15. With no football for a few weeks I still feel like spouting some pish about the Dees: With the shoe in player of the year Owen Beck gone which cunto can now step up and take the prize. Front runner is McCowan at 8/11 who has been a match winner for us. I've been calling for him in a 10/Central role for a while as he clearly had vision above the norm. Didn't quite have the pace for the wing which a competent manager finally seen. Just needs to step up against better opposition IMO. Shagger Shaughnessy at 2/1 has shored up our defence and been a huge improvement on total horseshit like Sweeney, Gomis, Ibsen Rossi, Ryan McGowan and Fontaine to name a few over the years. Boateng at 14/1 has had a competent half season but would need to add goals/assists to pip on of the other two. If you're looking for major odds then Bakayoko to have a goal filled second half of the season to build on a relatively okay start is a 33/1 punt. Carson to wipe away a shaky month or two and build on his good start with an Oliver Khan inspired 2024 50/1. Cant think of any others and fair play to McCowan after being Mr inconsistent for too many seasons. He may well get a move for some dough in the summer if he keeps his form up. Thank you.
  16. Oh deary, deary, deary me. Perth are at feverpitch before this one. Embarassing. Thank you.
  17. The Perth acting like their opinions are footballing gospel when they hounded out Davidson for his negative football. Now they have the master of negativity in Craig Levein. Dimwits Ludos just as bad as always. Thank you.
  18. Looks like that ignore buttons working out well for you. Thank you.
  19. You know fuckall about him and either does the other wetwipe Perth Saintees in here. Dochertys worked with youngsters such as James Maddison at Aberdeen and has a track record of bringing them through. Shut your pus and let the football do the talking. Quite sick of seeing Boredoms pie charts and Ludos negativity every transfer window in all honesty. Wasn't long ago Ludo was berating Bowyer leaving and whipping up as much anger as he could across all Dundee platforms. Costelleo has much more of a chance to progress with this manager than MacLean who was clearly a moron. Being around players of a better calibre should help aswell. Thank you.
  20. How many matches and minutes did Costelleo play after MacLean vacated? Thank you.
  21. So you were wrong once again. Shocker. Happy to trust the Doc on this. The young lad will be chomping at the bit to prove himself after a stint with the dimwitted McLean infront of the soulless Perth home crowd. Thank you.
  22. Thought you had me on ignore? Go on - press that ignore button and f**k off. New year yet no change from you making up pish. Thank you.
  23. If we were to be looking at replacements I've always liked the look of James Penrice of Livi. Maybe someone who has seen more of him could squash that thought but from what I've seen he'd be a solid choice and worth a PCA in this window. For tomorrow think it's as simple as putting Donnelly LWB and bringing in Lamie who should be fit. The break is coming at a good time for us, just get through tomorrow against the wee haters. I seen alot I liked from Howley in that first half at Rugby Park he should definitely be given another chance tomorrow. Carson Howley McGhee Shaughnessy Lamie Donnelly Mulligan Sylla Boateng McCowan Bakayoko Thank you.
