  1. Great credit to Alloa who despite being relegated are giving the rest of the season a real go . Attitude quite refreshing
  2. I thought he was a lovely footballer - who really is an SPL player ability wise - but he can be harassed and outworked by more limited players. Cheers anyway !
  3. I thought he would struggle at that level. Thanks anyway.
  4. I want the boy from Sandside to get a start on Saturday especially with Lyle out. At his young age , he is obviously raw but the boy has shown great appetite for the game. For a slight build he showed some very good body strength in holding off the challenge before netting on Sunday . He is getting there !
  5. Damn , you have too good a memory.------- I don't necessarily think refs ( not all anyway) go out to make sure the old firm win . For starters , the old firm have been that far ahead of everyone for years that they dont need much help from the officials . When things have been a bit tricky though, refs have shown human weakness and taken the easy way out . In that I mean for example why anger 45,000 at Ibrox/Parkhead by denying a penalty if it means getting abuse by thousands of nutters and scrutinised by the Old Firm press. Their homes have also been attacked in the past don't forget . Far easier to deny a Motherwell claim or whatever and better for your refereeing career also. The incident on Sunday was a case in point for me . He would have been far more hesitant in sending a Rangers player straight off especially if they were not winning. As for us , instinctively he knows its only little Queens and it would blow over quickly if he did flash a straight red. It has been amusing in recent years when Celtic go out of Europe and their fans are slating whatever continental ref 'robbed' them. These officials have not cared less who Celtic were or thought they were and just officiated the game without any pressure at all. Often to Sellicks great unhappiness because they are just not used to not getting their own way ( when required) .
  6. Their play off goal at Palmerston came from a free kick awarded to them that was actually a foul on our defender. Was a brilliant strike from direct free kick though by left back who's name escapes me at this moment .
  7. I have watched our football for a long time as I am sure you have also. These decisions have - in the main- benefited rangers through the years / decades and nothing much will change . We just have to accept , no matter how harsh the decision, and move on.It will be some other opponent next time.
  8. The forgotten man . No one talks about him at all . Maybe he was a figment of the imagination.
  9. Typical huffy , girly behaviour . You mention me twice ( obsessed) when I wouldn't have darkened your door ever again . No doubt the arsehole tag is directed here as well . Oh how I would like to be introduced to you in person.
  10. I remember Millar scoring a pen against us the tail of the season before last for Falkirk. Last minute effort and big Zander Clark tried hard to put him off .
  11. I was surprised that the BBC data had us on 52% possession and Morton 48% but anyway they looked the more hungrier team and also our keeper was very good. You could see it wasn't going to be our night and no surprise the ball somehow stayed out at the end . We will have better days and plenty chances to redeem ourselves.
  12. Paton is like reinforced concrete compared to Tapping .
  13. China even ? Let's think how many brittle, fragile materials we can think of to describe Calum Tapping.
  14. Thought Iain Russell was excellent last night, full of running and trickery. It is a case of the boy that cried wolf though . When genuinely fouled he often doesn't get free kicks because he is always looking for the ref to punish the opponent .
  15. Not so sure we will see much of Tapping .His body seems to be made of plywood.
  16. Am arriving straight from work with the safety boots on mate so maybe not but thanks anyway.
  17. Alas, I was so wrong . I reckoned you had disappeared under your stone , realising how ridiculous your tales of woe were looking in the face of continuing good Queens form. I now get a sense of achievement in that I apparently curtailed your dark offerings for a few months at least . If these - and I know its early days - attractive QoS performances can be maintained then I feel you might begin to question your raison d'etre again and vanish . Lastly, you started the personal stuff, not me .
  18. How long till Killie are knocking on our door for permission ?
  19. That's correct . After all it wasn't St.Mirren , the rangers , Hibs etc. It was Dumbarton who had previously beaten Hibs and St.Mirren but of course that doesnt count . For a team with our modest support , we really cannot be expecting better than what we are getting . In fact , we are doing far better than what we should be and some should wake up and take a reality check.
  20. Jeez , the critics will be fucking crying tonight desperately scrambling for some scrap of ineptitude to hang on to
