While I agree with the above comments I do feel for waverly. Went about their business quietly, not bummed their self up but others do it and then u kinda get the feeling folk enjoy seeing them lose. Will be a great battle between 3 at the top of the 1st but for me waverly will win it and west Kilbride 2nd although they will both need to be at their very best to finish above a really good Irvine side

Hope its true. Kenny makes alot of footballing promises tho.
See theres gonna b a new 2nd div team next year eh? Mark Ross n Kenny parris settin up tiber again? B interestin tae c how that pans oot1 -
I'd imagine minishant. Followed by Crosshill and possibly Dirrans
Does anyone know who the oldest club in Ayrshire amateurs is at present?1 -
The superstars are getting a bleaching. The scottish cup winners not play tonight??
Killie athletic vs Charlie’s at beith Astro tonight0 -

Killie u mean ? Yes have seen their squad this year and wouldn't be far away from winning the sat Scottish either.0 -
Refreshing to hear that, not the ref or anyone else's fault . All the best
the width of the park is shocking. you need to be standing on it to believe it. it’s what we needed getting carried away wee kick up the arse is never a bad thing. i also hope your right. broomlands definitely deserved that yesterday tho1 -
Iv not been up before. What was wrong with it. Can still see yous winning that league at an absolute canter tbf
broomlands more than deserved that result. it was a boot up the arse wee needed but credit to them. i will say that new quarry road park is a shambles. can’t believe they’ve spent 5 million on that1 -
Aw no your kidden. I had no idea. Thoughts with the family and everyone at the club. A stalwart of the Ayrshire Amateur for as long as I remember

Yeah didnt see that result coming either. A good win for Catrine especially after last weeks annihilation. Your point about the top first division teams and even mid table premier teams seemed apparent today aswell with the West Kilbride score.
Drongan clearly on the slide after losing the Boyd brothers to Thistle2 -
Thought that was a typo but Glenbuck is about the right name [emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857][emoji857]
Tarbolton 1 Glenbuck 5. Bit of a shock. Got told tarbolton were team to beat this season??? Anyone watch the game0 -
Couple of strange results today. Not just the outcome but the gulf of scores too. Superb result for Broomlands, that's a bit of a shocker. Well played

The boy likes collecting a tracksuit.
We at Darvel would like to wish calvin kemp All the best at Kilwinning rangers after his transfer to them this evening

Add Glenburn to that list but would say u arent too far away
Killie ams and killie United have a lot of ex premier players in their ranks as do crosshouse and will only improve. Realistically nobody going to compete with HT or shortlees are they? It’s a battle for the best of the rest really0 -
Coukdnt agree more. All the teams u mention are very good teams and will cause all the top teams problems but dont think they can sustain it. I do think crosshouse attack would cause any team I ayrshire major problems. I think their defence would get torn to pieces tho
Two more than they lost in the first. Also drew twice and still have the top 4 to play at least once each. Teams come up from the first with the swagger. New farm are tailing off, ardeer now in their second or third season and scrambling around the bottom. Cumnock have struggled to get into the top half since promoted. Hurlford Ams came up with everyone expecting big things. Thumped shortlees and within a year they fold. Only team to maintain top half since promotion is kilbride and it's only just. All I'm saying is dont big up the teams before they arrive in the premier otherwise you just end up with egg on your face.1 -
I think his point is that if lauriston haven't followed the rules correctly and are to be punished then surely it should only be if the rules on protests are also followed correctly as well
I’m only stating the obvious mate. What’s the big deal if they no the rules and they haven’t been followed in the correct procedure. They are obviously worried about something.2 -
You do realise that's the Lauri manager your talking to [emoji1787][emoji1787]
Put the shoe on the other foot if the game was at harestanes would they appeal if there was no corner flags and they lost. Yes of course they would.0 -
Good mate. As u say then. If one rule is to be followed then they all must be. Personally I hope they are told to get to f**k and get their own facilities up to standard before complaining about other teams.
Rule 15 of Scottish Amateur Cup Rules:
Protests relating to ground, goalposts or other appurtenances and violation of rule, must be intimated to the referee and to the captain of the opposing team at the time the infringement takes place with such protest being made in writing on the reverse side of the teamlines, witnessed and signed by both team captains
DID NOT HAPPEN1 -
Not sure how the scottish cup works but in ayrshire you have ( I'm sure ) 3 days after the game to lodge a protest about a fixture
If there was a protest going in, we would have to be aware of it as our captain would be required to sign the back of the team sheet at the moment it was raised during the game.0 -
Mate unless people paid £6 to watch the game the troller isnt interested. Ignore him he will get bored
Is that not what a forum is all about.. [emoji858]
A grown man trying to fish for bites cause he’s got f**k all in his life.... [emoji848]-1 -
Yeah and I can imagine the slating a ref would get aswell if they had abandoned a game yesterday if the corner flags wouldnt stay up right.Got to agree that's a bit embarrassing appealing on corner flags, I can guarantee not many games would have been played with corner flags in they conditions0 -
For me
Mauchline
Kilmarnock afc
Waverly
To win the leagues
Kilmarnock united to win play offs
West kilbride to pip irvine for promotion to the premierWith the leagues at the half way point now and games starting back on Saturday what’s folks predictions for The 3 leagues.
2B Kilmarnock Utd
2A Mauchline Utd
1st Irvine ( Can see them edging it )
0 -
Got to agree. That being said never seen Castlemilk. Just reputation etc
Then id give Castlemilk the edge just. Itll be a tight game and as said wont surprise me if it needs a replay.0 -
No.
Will knapp be available?
Think this tie hinges on if he plays or not, if he does I fancy Shortlees to edge it. If not Castlemilk may have the edge. Either way itll be close wont be surprised if it needs a replay.0 -
