Houston has only just turned 21, so that would be ridiculous.
Incidentally, McKenzie is only a few months younger which really shows the difference in terms of how far ahead Houston is in terms of his development.
I was meaning in an Ayr shirt! It’s clear Kerr isn’t that keen and would rather have a makeshift right back instead of houston

Houston injured, safe to say he has had a fucking disaster this season
Is this the last we see of him?

If we don't beat Alloa and worse case scenario lose, we are in the shits big style, like near relegation battle, then those 3 games don't look favourable for picking up many points.
Difficult to say how we're going to play though because we've only played twice in the last 5 weeks, however both performances were nothing scintillating.
Was looking at highlights of last few games before lockdown in March and even then on pitches which were nothing great we were still playing half decent football, so i think a lot of it this season is down to the personnel Kerr has brought in, or the fact they've not lived up to expectations. Made me realise too how many good players we've lost since last season, Doohan, Harvie, Forrest, Kelly and Drinan to an extent who've gone on to much better things. On top of that Houston is a shadow of himself and Roscoe i would say has gone backwards, watching those did make me appreciate a bit more that extent of rebuild Kerr had to do, would definitely say though last season our team had a lot more pace in it, especially the midfield, our play was much quicker up the park from back to front.
We need to start seeing that style of play again pronto

Do Dundee not have covers?

He surely deserves a run.
I was saying this the other day but I don’t think he will get one! That’s why I’d like another highly thought of loan from the OF or a club down south instead of putting Moffat up front as he really has lost his pace and ability to finish

I am pleased with the new signing! I do think we need another two in if possible another young centre forward on loan for cover and a defensive midfield would be great. I know it’s unlikely but I just don’t think Kerr trusts Mckenzie

Seemingly it’s his agent that is releasing messages at moment , Ayr have not officially released anything to press , training session only just completed , might get something from club now the management team are available
Have you seen or heard of any other new faces in and around the club?

Kinda surprised that it has been announced via the media and not by the twitter account! I also thought it was strange that we never announced Cameron leaving
thought that letting the media know who was signing before we announced it was done with after McCall left

I hope he is in better shape than the last player we signed from Ireland...

Who? I’ve never heard of him! So we aren’t signing Jordan white?

Could happen today as the players are all together at training as all players and officials are getting this weeks Covid test this morning , due to Covid signings are taking place mainly at training venue so are happening at anytime
Ok so I am allowed to get excited today?

Are we actually going to announce a signing on a Sunday? Has this ever happened before?
I won’t believe it till announced by the club. The fact that it’s Sunday suggests it’s not happening today- pretty sure Robbo confirmed there was a reason why nothing happens on a sunday previously

Are there any highlights?

Excited that we may have a new striker in for this! Watched Dundee a few times this season and don’t think they are great. Going to go 3-1 Ayr as long as the striker comes in and starts

Next Saturdays game at home to Alloa is starting to look massive. Our home form is the only saving grace - we're unheaten at Somerset in the league and we really ought to be winning that game. It would also give us some breathing space and hopefully we can start looking upwards rather than downwards.
We always seem to beat Alloa anyway
