And subsequently didn’t know what to do with him.

Good luck Rovers! Hope you do it.

Just shows you how we all have different views. I was shouting for Bitsindou to get taken off. How often did he just head the ball in the air and pass to the opposition.
Do you mean actually shouting for him to be subbed off? If so, in what way does that help anything?

Surgery required off the pitch first and foremost.
Hopefully big Rab stays as goalies have never been a problem
Take a day off eh. We’ve secured a fifth year in the Championship, don’t you remember where we were in 2016. And, do you really think Rab would stay after your DC/Pink removal.

A fifth season in the championship is some going. Well done to all at the club. Looking forward to better recruitment this summer.

Mind and support the lads tonight. No ifs or buts.

Dread to think what sort of signings we are going to make this summer.
I’m not dreading it, just hoping / expecting them to be better. Failure to learn from this season would be a game changer. No unknown lads would be a start. Anyway Friday etc to go through first.

Anyone who thinks we were competitive in that game is an absolute fantasist. Between this place and the clubs social media it’s sickening the amount of people who are giving the management team a free pass even though this campaign had been a total disaster of their making.
Struggling to see any free passes, everybody acknowledges the signings have been largely poor. How could they not?

If you had watched the actual match you would have noticed that there was virtually nothing between the two teams for the first 60 mins - this might not fit in with your narrative of events, but the match highlights will confirm that there was very little between the teams for the opening 60 mins.
Also, lets be clear, both teams put in a poor shift, neither team played well - but in the final 30 mins Thistle outplayed Arbroath, but they were hardly outstanding - we never looked like scoring, but for large parts of the game Thistle were just as poor - it was a dull match with neither team playing much attractive football.
Based on the final 30 mins Thistle were worthy winners - but until then there was little between the two teams - you might not like hearing this, but I can assure you that Thistle were just as bad as Arbroath ( until they raised their game in the 2nd half and took some of their chances).
The match highlights will confirm the above - both teams struggled to play much football and it made for dire viewing.
Measured stuff isn’t gonna gain a lot of traction on here sadly.
This season has been largely terrible and down to poor recruitment. Hopefully we can get away with it on Friday night. Pretty unsatisfactory but it’s where we are.2 -
Buzzing for tomorrow. Big end of season Gayfield encounter. Getting vibes of Queens Park 1998 and Berwick 2001. Nothing’s guaranteed , all we can do is give the boys maximum vocal support and hope someone comes through as this season’s Cooper, Mercer or Cusick ️
Edited - QP was 1998

As has been Said earlier in this vert thread it’s a lovely thought but it won’t happen. The board d won’t want to upset their friends in the league
Aw mate. Wee lesson there.

When? Obviously when we won the league at home to Montrose that happened. But I’m scunnered if I can think of another occasion
Morton last season.

Got a real soft spot for Brechin City. It’s my dad’s home town and my grandad was groundsman at Glebe Park back in the 80’s/90’s.
Would love to see them back up but I think they’ve blown it by drawing 2 of the last 3. It’s Buckie’s league to lose now. Brechin have 3 away games after tonight with the last game being a possible winner takes all at Buckie.
I’m following Brechin with interest tho I’m not arsed if they come back up or not. The last game of the season at Buckie would be something to see.

Very happy with this. Tommy Bryce 40, Gav Swankie 38, Bobby Linn 37 off the top of my head.

Extremely surprised by that even though it’s the correct decision. I thought the powers that be would have backed the ref.
I wonder what that ref on our Facebook page (and all his ref mates) think of that as they all agreed that it was a straight red. I suppose it just confirms that our refs are hopeless.
Please ask them. It would be interesting to know.

I’m going to sound like a killjoy here but that drum at Gayfield needs burst or chucked in the sea. Leaving the game deaf in one ear and with a thumping headache I’d not ideal. I think it’s great that so many young kids want to support their local side and that attendances are up but I really wish they would dump the drum.
You’ve just documented the day you got old.

"The players were down by the Raith score but look at what they’ve gone and done since." What????
Did I miss something? Just havering again I suppose.
I presume he means what Raith have done since. An unwarranted insult from you.

For all the talk of 6 to 8 signings lined up and ready to come in, after the first batch, there's not been any other movement...
6 to 8. I missed that. Who said it?

New deal for Ricky Little. Absolutely brilliant news.
Magic. A few on here had him down as leaving.

At least the twitter admin got a good laugh at Ayr's equaliser. What a minter tweeting that out.
Trying to raise a laugh with a comedy hashtag on the back of an important conceded goal. Shambolic and embarrassing.

I never saw Corfe as a slacker, rather a boy who wasn’t near good enough.

Humble pie? After 1 win against 10 men? Deary me.
Let’s not forget Dicks disdain towards the support in interviews this season as well.
We could always move on.
