I suppose the hope is that Dhanda will blossom in a better team than he is at currently. You can clearly see he is a really good player, but they rely on him for goal creation a lot. In our team you would have to think there would be less pressure on him to be the talisman. Situation reminds me a little of John O’Neil moving from St Johnstone to Hibs. Immediately found himself surrounded by better players and raised his game. Could probably say the same about Shankland at United, although obviously there was Beerschott in between. There will be other better examples that I can’t recall just now. Some also fail to make the step up of course. Dhanda having already been at West Brom as a wunderkind, and Liverpool’s age group teams, before playing with Swansea at a decent level hopefully counts for something in the yet to be fulfilled potential stakes.

Game of two halves. We deserved the win overall though. I think that would have been an enjoyable game for the neutrals. Should have been on SKY as Sutton and that other walloper would have struggled to sneer and snide about it. Great result for us.

Quite happy for Ewan Murray to be dismissed as tribalistic. I don’t want anything to stand in the way of this happening.

One name for it, right enough.

I remember those posters too; the jezza one was always getting into scrapes
Ripped people off. Same with Last Laff. Last Laff conned someone out of £100.

Last Laff and possibly Jezza going further back

Good result, that. Just need the other half of the Hidees to get pumped later and we are on a roll.

So, what was the score?
Did Kirk get on the pitch?
EDIT: Postponed due to Frozen Pitch
Yeah, Sod’s Law it was postponed.

There used to be a Hearts poster on here by that name who had a penchant for sticking a Celticy "h" into various team/player names, so the swear filter was amended accordingly. Bit of a blast from the past.
Seriously?
That’s mental stuff.

Surely there are better players at the likes of Morecambe F.C. in League 2.
Bravo!
Quite like the idea of having Handa and Dhanda in the same team though. Would amuse me for a few minutes or so. A bit like the Clark Kent team sheet at the moment.

Great to see Vargas doing well again. It can’t be easy to do so without getting a run. Really useful result that today and double figures over Hibs and Aberdeen going in to the break is very good form indeed.

Feels like we got away with one there due to other results. Team playing two games a week vs a fresh and rested team is how that looked to me. Dhanda’s goal was a thing of beauty.

Human League - more Hibs

Did I struggle?
No, you were spot on.

I think some people struggle with the difference between leagues and divisions.

Haha. Okay, clearly wee oxygen-Thief Green is a bit of a heidcase and someone who cannot handle a bit of ribbing when his team loses. That is fine. Hopefully he keeps me on ignore this time instead of sending me any more tear-soaked PMs.
As for the rest of the Hibs fans on here, no massive problem with any of them tbh. Most seem normal enough, if a little bit bad at losing. One or two even sent me nice PMs when my Mum died, so I appreciate that.
Anyway, it is what it is I suppose. Online forums seem to bring out the worst in certain types of personalities.

Hibs winning or losing doesn't really affect my life in any significant way. Certainly not to the extent of calling people rapists or vermin.
It does though, eh… it’s a common theme with your lot. Care when you (rarely) win. Don’t care when you are just repeatedly kicked in the fanny through natural order…

Or “incel”?

What an absolute state to get yourself into over a football match that your team won.
What complete agony to live your life in, because of the genuinely shite football team you support.

Do you guys have any plans to stop being so utterly tragic as a fan base, and so totally shit on the pitch?
I feel like we should maybe lend you a few young Hearts players and supporters to make things be a bit more positive… unfortunately, they are unlikely to want go near such a midden.

Don’t remember Fraser well enough; is he similar to Dhanda? Maybe we fancy both… genuine question as I do not know.
