  1. Funnily enough I actually ended up not being able to watch live the game after all, but I am very disappointed in the Kelty frauds. Nice of you to remember me, though
  2. Mods! Mods! Gogsy is being sarcastic about my favourite team again! Oh mods, when will you help us?!
  3. Despite the anxiety it's going to give me, I will have to root for Kelty here just to see JuniorFitbaSC have a meltdown.
  4. Stirling Uni 4 - 0 Vale Cumbernauld Colts 0 - 0 Gretna
  5. Final results for Tuesday: East Kilbride 0 - 1 Civil Service Strollers Berwick Rangers 1 - 0 Edinburgh Uni Kelty Hearts 5 - 0 Spartans
  6. Glad we spent all that money and got a raft of new players in so we could solve the reoccurring issues of being flaky in big games, defending terribly and failing to put away chances.
  7. Looking forward to the big game - the colossal tussle - with East Kilbride at TFS tomorrow. A hugely important game for both teams, who will be looking to close the gap on the teams leading the league, or at the very least not fall further behind. Having not seen East Kilbride this season I'm not sure what to expect, but I would happily settle for a repeat of our 5-0 win from a few season back - in reality, I feel a draw is maybe the most likely scenario.
  8. I would imagine it's partially because a good number of the reserve team games are on a Monday, which tends to be the quietest night for football here and abroad. So it makes sense for the bookies to have some active league with names that folk will recognise to catch a few bets of people who are in there on a Monday evening
  9. So alongside not being able to mention they don't have as many fans as other teams in the league, you also can't imply the other team might have been weakened if BSC beat them handsomely without someone kicking off. Will bear that in mind.
  10. What was your thoughts on the opposition? They seem to have a couple of up and down results this season but are clearly decent. Was it just BSC playing at the top of their game?
  11. Looks like a fantastic result for BSC given how Edusport have started the season.
  12. That is a famous stereotype about Falkirk. Anywhere I go, when I tell people where I'm from, they ask about the kelpies and about the yurts
  13. Just seen in the Evening Times he might be going to Celtic as a reserve team coach, must be connected to that https://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/17833069.scottish-transfer-news-live-rangers-among-bookies-favourites-sign-daniel-sturridge-darren-odea-line-sensational-celtic-return/
  14. I was wondering what was happening with him. Is he going to another club or has he just packed it in altogether?
  15. In the highlights of the Gretna game you can see him remonstrating with the referee just after Shire scored the ninth goal
  16. Really excellent performance today from the team, honestly could have been more. Hopefully we'll carry that performance into Bonnyrigg next week. You fear a bit for Gretna this season after that performance, especially if they persevere with that absolute walloper of a manager
  17. In contrast I think 4-0 flattered them! We could've had 10 easy! I was probably thinking more of the first half where we were pretty sloppy imo. Second half we looked a lot more comfortable.
  18. The result of Kelty vs FKA Edusport will be interesting to see. Fancy Kelty to win it but it should be a good measure of how both teams are shaping up this season. Reckon Berwick will pick up their first win of the season as well.
  19. Good result last night and some lovely goals, although I think 4-0 was a tad unfair on the Uni - we took a while to get going and only really got in full control when they tired. Although if it was last season we would've been 1 down in a few minutes and spent the rest of the time valiantly fighting back for a 1-1 draw, so definite improvement there. It was my first time seeing the new team this year, was quite impressed with Tapping, who looks to have improved in his year away. The quality is obviously there in the attacking end of the park, just needs a bit more coherence at times. Hopefully another 90 minutes against a team probably of a similar level in Gretna this weekend will help to jel a bit more, before the game against Bonnyrigg.
  20. True, although there's always been a lot of talk about the club buying the stadium from the council, who are pretty cash strapped and AFAIK are still looking to build a new HQ in town. But aye, realistically fake grass is a better option in their situation if they're looking to have regular gigs there. I'm also not convinced on the arguments against the fake stuff, it really comes down to quality and there is a fair number of shite grass pitches as well.
