  1. Nice of him to ensure the league is still a bit competitive next season, tbf. Any truth in the rumour he had a wee word in Darren O'dea's ear?
  2. BSC-Bo'ness is the pick of the round for me. Aside from Gretna and Whitehill you'd fancy all the LL teams to go through (except from the ones playing other LL teams, obviously), although Newtongrange and Tranet could be potentially tough games for Berwick depending on whatever state they end up in.
  3. That's unfair - it's also because a fox shat on their pitch once
  4. Honestly? Just have the team as ??? in the fixture list, and keep it a surprise until they run out at the first game of the season. Obviously they'll have to be away, or it would ruin the shock factor, but I'm sure the league can work that out.
  5. As above, I'm disappointed McCaughie has not been kept on, even as someone to bring on as a sub, which was a role he did regularly for us. The rest of the confirmed releases are not too surprising, none of them are regulars, and I'm not sure McFadden has ever actually had a game for us?
  6. Sounds very dodgy imho. Hopefully the league or the SFA step in and strip them of any recently won competitions, perhaps even going so far as awarding said competitions to whoever the runners-up happen to be? Happy to limit this to the last couple of weeks as a compromise
  7. Is it not someone in the building/construction trade or something like that? I could well be taking shite though, as that seems like it would provide ample opportunity to have a dig about them not building their own ground, but I feel like I've heard that somewhere
  8. I was surprised to see that as well. Not exactly high security on the fence behind the dugouts, you could probably sneak under there if you were particularly determined. To be honest in general I didn't really like Peffermill as a venue for the final overall (bitterness at the result not counting in that, btw)
  9. It's a lot of money but it's only a risk if they're splurging now on a gamble that they can recoup when promoted. If this is money they know they have, or know they'll get in through the course of the season, then fine. If any club in the LL could get together that much it's probably Kelty, imo
  10. Really disappointed in the result today, obviously, but I think on balance the better team won on the day. As per the last few weeks we didn't get going until after half time, except here BSC were on the ball enough to get a bigger lead. Still, it was good seeing the lads in a final, and hopefully today will spur them on to achieve more next season. And at least you didn't have to hear the cheers of the other fans at full time to rub it in
  11. Cheers man, figured that was the case but I wanted to make sure so I wasn't fannying about at the wrong place.
  12. Maybe a bit of a daft questions but - is it the East gate next to Nairns Oatcakes that you get into Peffermill at? I've never been before and notice there's a couple different ways in
  13. Just spotted this on the Falkirk Herald report of the semi final. I know Andy is a bit of a unit but that's a bit much
  14. TBH I think a lot of that stick comes from having Ferguson in charge. A lot of folk made up their mind about the club then
  15. Waverley Station is too small to hold all the fans travelling through, I've been hearing
  16. Change the strips to blue and black and they could go for FC Inter Change
  17. Some delightfully embarrassing stuff in there. FC Venom sounds like a team of football playing baddies from a kids cartoon. Personally I'd go for the one that's misspelled. Has there been any word from someone who bought shares in the club on how fucking stupid this whole thing is?
  18. Last time they put in an u20s/reserve side and got beat in the first round, iirc?
  19. The picture? It's Matt Berry from the IT Crowd
  20. This episode came out in 2010, East Kilbride were founded in 2010, so it all checks out.
  21. A 2-1 win and Kilby are over the finishing line
  22. There's been a lot of things said about Ferguson on this thread, but that's probably the daftest
  23. https://twitter.com/EdusportAcademy/status/1106833745192108033/photo/1 Edusport having tweeted a picture of work ongoing at their new training and home ground for next season, which going from an earlier tweet is in Bothwellhaugh, out near Hamilton.
  24. Very sloppy performance from Shire last night which was punished repeatedly by a Strollers side who deserved to win. CSS also had much nicer strips than I remember them having previously, which is no doubt the driving force behind the their push up the table. I hope they do end up finishing in the top 4 - it's entirely within their reach, it would be a great achievement, especially if they keep out Spartans.
