Rangers absolutely got away with one there. We deserved at least a point out of that.

Typical. Better team for the first 25 mins and they get a jammy goal like that.

I was annoyingly impressed with Rangers in the second half against Betis during the week, so if they reach anywhere near those levels today we’ll have no chance.
Heart says 1-1 but head says 2-0 Rangers. I wonder which diddy striker will follow in the illustrious footsteps of Itten and Sakala and turn into prime Ronaldo today and stick a few past us - I’ll go for Matondo.

What lucky team get to face Scott Bain in goal next weekend?
He’s going to concede to Theo Bair.

There's a Nashville guy? Didn't know us exiles were eligible.
Yeah, seems like he’s not even an exile though. Just some mad yank that has decided to follow Motherwell. Points off for calling it the Scottish Premier (Prem-eer) League in his wee spiel though. I’ve chucked in a vote for him for a laugh along with some more serious ones.

I’m just back from a holiday in Nashville and it was class, so on that basis alone I’m going to vote for the Nashville guy.

Scenes in the away end there, a big dandie pile on. Good stuff.

I see Wilkinson and Soare have been upgraded to Doubtful for the Rangers game. Don't expect we'll risk them in a game we're unlikely to get anything from but it'd be good to at least have a couple of senior players on the bench.
Edit : Beaten to it by The Captain, who has helpfully included our fancy wee graphic.

Reckon that’ll be us as title favourites now considering the nick of the two arse cheeks. Imagine what we’ll be like when we get all our strikers fit.
That was a cracking performance though. Had a bit of everything, some great football for the goal and really had to dig in at the end there but don’t really think Kelly had a save to make thanks to some excellent performances from Casey and Mugabi. Onward.

Well worth our HT lead, for me. Midfield is winning the battle and we look dangerous on the break. Brodie Spencer looks a player, hasn’t given Oda much of a sniff.

MoVARwell. That was a class goal.

Thought Kyogo had taken that far too early but that’s a cracking finish.

Unusually quiet deadline day for us then. The Fir Park Street lurker will be disappointed. Guessing it’s either a LWB or another attacker.

What's the predictions for incomings/outgoings today then, if any?
I'd like to see a LWB, another forward, and if I'm being greedy maybe a #10-type back up for Spittal. All of that would probably require a couple of outgoings, but the only real candidates are Efford and McGinley, and I doubt there's a queue around the block looking to take them off our hands so it might only be one in.

Honestly a lot of my thought process was just a vibe that everyone assumes Motherwell will be fine then 9 months later looking back it was kind of obvious the squad was going to struggle.
It’s a vibe for a reason. We’re literally always fine. Simply can’t be relegated.

Oli Shaw seems like a sensible, fairly low risk move considering our situation. He knows the league, we know he's broadly capable of performing at this level, and he gives us a bit more guile and mobility than big Thelonius. Imagine it'll be an initial 6 month deal until we know what the script is with Mika, Wilkinson and Obika.
Hope we are still in the market for another forward, a LWB, and possibly another midfielder because if Spittal picks up an injury we've not got anyone capable of playing that advanced midfielder role anywhere near as well as him.

Apparently we’re leading the race for ‘one of Europe’s best young strikers’… [Leanne Dempster, 2019).
The first time I’ve ever been ‘ITK’! Class. Might start a Patreon.

I wasn’t at the away game in Levante, but went to Valencia for a football weekend in 2019 (cracking city btw).
The ‘Well are a big deal with a Levante because I’m pretty sure we were their first ever European opponents. They were still selling half and half scarves and other wee bits of memorabilia from that game (key rings etc), and when some of the Levante fans found out some of us were Motherwell fans they were keen for a wee chat about the games and wanted some photos. Good lads.7

That’s a shoddy allocation for a 50k seater! I’m on 12 points and thought I’d have no bother for this one, but looks like it might be have a €79 home end ticket at this rate.
