Agreed on the Wilkinson/Bair point. No doubt Wilkinson is more likely to score but not sure how he’ll do in the Bair facilitator role. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if the plan is to keep it scoreless until 60-70 mins and then unleash Biereth and see if we can nick it. The keeping it scoreless bit is the worry based on what we saw on Saturday!

Back to 1 up top and 4 in midfield. Wilkinson and Miller both in from the start. Probably the best we can put out on the basis Butcher and Mika aren’t ready to start yet. Not feeling over confident, mainly because there’s no way Aberdeen can be as shit again as they were at the weekend. I’d take a point but think we’ll lose out by the odd goal… 1-2.

Great to see Butcher and Mika back on the bench, which all of a sudden contains a few options rather than a bunch of school weans. A comfortable lead which lets us give the returning guys a wee 20-25 mins off the bench would be ideal but think that’s very unlikely. It’ll be tight…2-1 ‘Well.

It's got to be Casey - Butcher - McGinn in the back 3, for me. The wing backs are the most difficult decision I think. I haven't seen any of Gent yet, but hear his defending at Livi left a lot to be desired. I'd be keen to see Spencer play on his correct side, but we might better off as a collective leaving him on the left and keeping SOD at RWB for now. I noticed Wilkinson mentioned in his press conference pre-St J that he had been focussing on playing more of a facilitator role in training, rather than dropping deep and building play as he seems to have done at previous clubs. I have a wee feeling there's something there with him so I'd be keen to see him up top with Mika when they are both fit, but expect SK will be looking to get Obika back in when fit after his impact last season.

Looks like we'll be seeing Spencer continue on the left against County with Soare picking up another injury. Good to see Mika upgraded to 'Doubtful' for the weekend, but expect he'll be on the bench at best. Assuming he is fit to start in the coming weeks, and his Hibs cameo wasn't just a flash in the pan, what do we do with the shape? Revert to two up top with Mika and Bair/Wilkinson, or stick with the four central midfielders and one striker? Biereth didn't strike me as a lone forward in his limited minutes so if we want him on the pitch I'm guessing it'll have to be in a two. Nice to have options I suppose.

Bair has done far better than I was expecting and his hold up and link up play is pretty decent, but he hasn’t looked close to scoring since that opening game at Dundee. I can’t even think of many (any?) shots on target he’s had since then. Wouldn’t be against seeing Wilkinson starting up front for this one. Big game this one to try and get the ball rolling again after nothing to show from 3 good performances. It’ll be tight, and hope we can sneak it 1-0 but wouldn’t be devastated with a point.

Aye, I’d rather we’d just been outplayed and dispatched 4-0. Between last week and now today I’m absolutely scunnered. I’ve usually forgotten about a defeat 5 mins after the final whistle but this is shite.

Managed to get one on 12 points! Thought it’d sold out at 13 but chanced my arm and managed to get one. Only one of my group of 7 to get one though. Edit: 2 of us in! If you’re on 12 points keep refreshing and you might get lucky
