He went down south a couple of months ago for work. Think he was a bit underrated at QP although he did fly into tackles at times.

Why would other clubs suddenly decide to give us compensation when most of them are happy to take players for nothing? If we stay amateur they will keep taking them for nothing.

Another season probably wouldn't have done him any harm, getting first team experience under his belt, a bit like Michael Ruth this summer. Time will tell if Michael's move is a better choice than Liam's.

A terrible disease yes, but Ricksen had nothing to do with either club so not sure why it was appropriate.

The support, and membership, is definitely younger than it was and I think if going pro had been mooted 20 (or even 10) years ago there wouldn't have been a chance of it getting through although there wasn't the threat of relegation from the bottom division then.

I suspect that if they did that then they would be accused of railroading the change through. From the sound of things there has been some preparatry work in the background but no point in doing massive in depth studies into something if there was no appetite amongst the members/supporters to seriously consider the change.

Will other clubs be so happy to take them if they have to pay for them? I suspect not. Although the upside of that is that we would then get the benefit of these players in the first team.

Is the guy in the middle one of John Brogans signings that you haven't managed to offload yet?

That was one of the few instances where the ref was consistent all evening, given that he hadn't booked Thistle's no. 8 and 16 for the same offence in the first half.
