I'd be very surprised if he's back in the summer with that injury. Even the top footballers with similar seem to be out for a full season at least, and that's with access to the best medical treatment available.

Agree it's very unlikely but not discounting it entirely. Wouldn't be the strangest thing ever to happen. One person I don't think will be signing for him is Harvey. During the Partick game I remember his celebrations for the goals being way more enthusiastic than usual.

Assuming Murdoch signs a new contract he could find himself in the same position Moore is at present. If Moore does sign for Partick then the club has to think what's the point? I don't think anyone is saying Moore is Shankland 2.0. but with the size of the squad already and the players already needing replaced, it's another headache we could do without. Especially if he signs for thrift shop boy up the road. And Kelly will be the next target I've no doubt.

Unpopular opinion but if Moore does go to Partick then Murdoch should not be offered a new deal.

Can't compete with the wages Partick can offer, not really a matter of being tight. Then there's the McCall factor.

McCall does love Moore right enough. Wouldn't surprise me if true.

Less concerned about McCall snatching players from us in January now. His recruitment is generally good, especially when it comes to young players, and he should be able to put a team together to see you comfortably away from the relegation zone.
