    If it's being announced Monday at the latest it doesn't seem like Saturdays result will have much bearing on whether Stewart will get it, which maybe means he's never wanted it permanently.

    Gimple ruined the show when he took over, same with FTWD. This season and last has a new showrunner and it shows, much better episodes.

    Lets hope our strong start to the season is enough to counter our inevitable poor second half of season and book us a playoff spot. Other teams continuing to be a complete rabble will help too.

    Stewart & Kerr in charge till the end of the season is the only appointment that doesn't fill me with dread. Gives a chance to see how they handle a transfer window and the winter schedule, and is the only appointment that would have a minimal disruption to the team. Then at the end of the season, if it hasn't been successful, you can do a reboot.

    Thing is, after the way in which McCall was appointed we can't really be discounting anybody. Their stock at present isn't as low as McCall's was then, although I do think the chances of lucking out like that again are very low.

    The only ones who could maybe agree a pre contract the now are Moore & Adams surely, and those up at the end of season can negotiate in the Jan window. Think that's how it works.
