I think his first long spell out was before his accident he pulled up in the 2 nil home win over dunfermline and it's happened twice more . It's unfortunate but he just seems to get injured out of nothing appart from being kicked in the head that is.

What about the 3 strain injuries that he has had? He was out for several months each time after Barr Mchattie we can't take the risk again .

He's far to injury prone for us to take the risk unfortunately so I would let him go.

Obviously we never got relegated but it has the same feeling as the end of last season. At the end of the day we are stuck in league one the vast majority of the fans are seriously unhappy that he kept his job. Poor tactics, football, team selection no plan b sticking by players who weren't on form shocking away form and a team that failed to beat allo a five times.

Only the rovers would let a manager get away with failure of this stature. I hope but very much doubt the board has told him most of the out of contract players will not be resigned under any circumstances.

What was their average attendance etc they didn't push the boat out to stay up neither you or me are privy to each clubs budget but we should still have more.

The prize money for finishing bottom isn't that big and brechins crowds won't have been bigger. Instead if 2000 rovers fans coming thru to methil we should just give the money direct to the rovers we don't need a big away support to beat u lot.

Even if we sack Smith we would still have a bigger budget than anyone else especially East fife.
