  1. Big names or bigger than Fury? In the devision he has fought everyone apart from Fury or Wilder!!! 3rd biggest name on Fury’s record... Chisora, Cunningham, wallin? You have to look at AJ and what he’s achieved and who he’s fought, Parker, Whyte, Ruiz, Povetkin, Klitschko, Pulev, Takham. He’s fought a better list of fighters on a consistent basis! Last night proved he’s evolving, had him hurt in the 3rd but didn’t press for a stoppage like he did in the Ruiz fight, he was patient boxed well and got the ko!
  2. The speed of his right hand is pretty good!! I have no doubts about fury being the better boxer but I can see the volume punching from AJ being a massive problem for Fury.... yes he got up from wilder but he never really landed anything prior!!! Imo wilder would pose more of a problem for AJ than fury, i think Usyk beats Fury and AJ stops Usyk! I just don’t see how how people can disregard AJs chances against Fury.... he’s been in with 2 big names and the rest are middle of the road! If Usyk develops at the weight he’s going to end up undisputed but there’s a lot of unknowns about him at the weight!
  3. Sorry I’m not buying Fury beats AJ 99/100 there’s literally no way! He bullied what is practically a cruiserweight in Wilder in the second fight and outboxed him in the first l.... would he be able to bully AJ??? Absolutely not, can he put box him...yes!!! People go on about Fury as if he’s the modern day Ali, based on what exactly?? How many fights ( of elite level ) has fury looked good in.... 1?
  4. Yeah he’s the number 12, sure I seen a straight red?? I agree with the coach being sent off but IMO neither player deserved it and something like that rules him out the next round!? He’s a massive player for Haddington! Great day for them, first ever game in the big Scottish and they pull off what can only be considered a shock result!!
  5. Madness, even in these time could a neutral venue be arranged?
  6. This is the first AJ PPV I’m not buying!! Not because I don’t think it’s worth it I literally have no interest in this fight. That being said it could very well reshape the heavyweight devision if Pulev wins.... I’m not buying into him having power hasn’t he got only 14 stoppages?? I hope AJ goes back to type and bangs him out early but I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be snooze fest
  7. I just watched it on the link again and I’m no further forward he literally never done anything to warrant a straight red card.... even a booking id question!! The stream I was on cut off from 1-1 next think it’s was 3-1!! The first goal for BSC was unreal
  8. Can Someone explain to me why Joe Hamill was sent off?
  9. That’s insanity! Just let it go to the Saturday. Working a half shift and driving 5hrs to play a game 250 miles away..... I wouldn’t be keen!!
  10. 19:30 ko? Players will get home about 2am!!! Haddington the shock result for today?? I put £20 on the at 12s! I coach part of their youth section and previously played ( junior days ) all involved in getting them to where they are now have done a remarkable job... a very hardworking committee!
  11. I heard it’s quite a short course? All I look for in winter golf is coming off clean [emoji23]
  12. Might need to give it a wee go!! How much for a round?
  13. What’s royal Musselburgh like?? Been meaning to play it as I know the pro down there. Longniddry doesn’t have a single par 5!! A few very long 4s
  14. Very nice track, I’ve enquired about membership £800 joining fee over 3 years and £894 a year quite expensive but most courses in East Lothian are! Was in very good condition my only complaint is the greens, tend to rise on a line before the break but I won’t judge them in the winter.... I did manage to hit a conservatory from the tee, woman was waiting to give me my ball back, I blamed my mate[emoji23][emoji23]
  15. Played longniddry today for the first time cracking course! Golf was shite but very enjoyable
  16. I have a 4 hybrid which I love. I tested the tiger wedges but a can’t seem to find anything that closes the gap, for some reason a lose a lot of distance on my PW. I have another range session on Sunday to see what we can do, I’ve been easing of a 9 but with mixed results!
  17. Just a quick question here, what’s all your 5 iron distances? I tend to use my off short par 4s and biggest today was 211 yards! I have a massive gap between 9/pw of like 25yards
  18. His hands looked so slow!! I watched a think with Hearn about DD being matched wrong.. I don’t rate Joyce as highly as most but IMO he beat him with ease!! I love Usyk and I’d much rather see him become undisputed over AJ or Fury. Audley Harrison seemed to get one
  19. Does he have anything to do with Fury..... like really?? Everything seems to be going through Arum? Speaking of which he’s lost the plot over Crawford!!!
  20. 100% this! All so called big teams seem to have a cycle and Celtic’s nearly lasted 10 years! They’ll sack him or he’ll agree to walk away... appoint wee Gordon and still finish 2nd! Imo Howe would be a fantastic fit, he would at least play decent football but I’m pretty sure they will take a backwards step and go with what they know! Gerrard on the other hand plays very entertaining football and is a young progressive manager, most importantly seems very likeable!
  21. I thought if they made an undisputed fight then everything else was on the back burner? If I was Usyk I’d wait for a crack at the winner of Fury v AJ! Joyce is a bit of a plodder.. hands and feet are pretty slow!
  22. Why are people acting like AJ is a shoe in to vacate?? After the showing last night both Joyce and DD are nowhere near the level of AJ, Fury, Usyk, Whyte, Povetkin etc Joyce had a decent jab all night but is unbelievable slow and doesn’t seem that heavy handed! Hopefully DD learns from this and can come again.... wonder where Warren goes from here
  23. Hi everyone, Haddington Athletic 2005s are looking for players to strengthen their squad. We play division 2 on a Sunday afternoon at 2pm and train Tuesday/Thursday 19:30/21:00 on the 3G in Haddington. We’ve had a shakey start to the season so far but results are becoming more encouraging, we lost a few players and the league we are in is very competitive so they boys are finding it a struggle at the minute! Anyone interested please contact myself through here on direct message! Cheers
  24. The wee one a couple weeks back after her op. Thankfully she did really well.
