I would have just kept the original badge with 1920-2020 a hundred years of candy round it I think you should only ever change badge if your going back to an original badge but it was the early 80s before a badge had ever appeared on a St Rochs shirt

You would think so but in my time following the club they have to my knowledge not had even as much as a ball off them tho the Celtic foundation do support them greatly

They did play rangers and DL has the pictures of him and the late Davie Cooper to prove it am sure he shows those pictures to everyone that visits Darvel lol

I think folk are just having a dig for the sake of it tbh DL gave a reasonable reply to my question as that would be 7 games before the league kick off . In truth none of us know how long a team takes to gel as some click straight away others need to be tinkered with and I'm sure the Darvel Manager has enough experience in the game to deal with either scenario . Personally I hope they don't start well and we get them early doors as they mght be a formidable force once they do click

Yip your first half of the season and all those draws killed you DL The problem you may have next season is how quickly the side gels if you hit the ground running then your definitely gonna be in the top 3

Cumbernauld I thought were brilliant in the two games Vs the candy and you have got to expect that they will be in the mix again . A dark horse maybe Neilston who improved greatly second half of the season but I'm sure folk could make a case for quite a few in the division for next season

Congratulations to Rossvale quite an achievement everything considered . Delighted for Dom whom I spent time talking to at both games and who is a good guy and his hard work off the pitch deserves the success his manager and players have achieved

Decent guy is DL and a guy who is just as passionate about his club as we are about ours

I was saying that last night Benny all season even on some right tough pitches we have tried to play on the deck yet last night on what looked a very good surface we were quite direct and very unlike us . The last 25 minutes we were under the cosh and you paid the price for the boy missing an absolute sitter but I saw a marked improvement from the match at JMP so I think you can go into next season a lot more confident than you started this one.

Tam is in his 16th season as a junior footballer so I suspect he is in his mid 30s
