Jordan Allan will be moved on and I can’t see many/any of the apprentices being involved so I’d expect maybe 3 additions even if Mackie and Ross sign on (5 if they don’t). Much quieter than the last few years but still room to add some quality.
Harry Stone, Hanlon, Tait the ones being talked about at the moment but expect McGlynn may have something up his sleeve.

I’m not interested what Muirhead has done since leaving us. When he wore our jersey he certainly wasn’t good enough. Hothead, lack of ability, defensively average…the list could go on. Good at penalties but a shite player and a shite captain. f**k him.

KJLK are you in the know with this, what makes you say this with such certainty?
I'm happy Hogarth has resigned but think he has to improve especially in commanding his six yard box at crosses and corners more. I'd prefer we had a more experienced commanding keeper as first choice.
McGlynn said so himself.

Remember the days when you looked at the bench and could bring on Seb Ross, Hetherington, Finn Malcolm or fucking Omperon. We’re gona have some fucking good players struggling to get in the team if everyone is fit. What a difference

I've heard we have offers on the table for 3 players currently with the club so I presume that is Tait, Ross and I presume Mackie. How many players we bring in will undoubtedly depend on whether these 3 sign or not. McKenna is a done deal and the other keeper will be a loan deal looking like stone. If all 3 sign I can't see there being that many more permanent signings through the door depending on what happens with the likes of Jordan Allen. I'd expect probably a couple of loan signings perhaps after that probably.
If that is correct and they all sign that would give us a squad of 18. Add a loan GK to that (hopefully Stone) and we’re up to 19 (20 if you include Allan but I’m pretty certain he’ll be moved on). McGlynn commented in a recent podcast he’s aiming for a squad of 20 but I think with the additional money from the ‘managers budget season tickets’ we might be able to stretch to 21 or 22 leaving space for 1 or 2 additions.
Hanlon seems like a strong rumour a a centre forward and we might be just about done.0 -

We do? Oh, right, wouldn’t have known.
Yet you want us to employ another one? What a great idea, the more the merrier eh

Having signed up Hogarth, I’d rather they looked at Mick McGovern to come in as player/coach. Work wi the young guys & give competition for the keeper spot at the same time. He knows the club/fans & it would be a signing that would be easily accepted.
We already have a goalie coach, we’re not just going to invent a role for someone.

Ideally we should be aiming for a better goalie than either of the Hogarth/Long pairing given that it’s a league above and Hogarth would be a very decent #2 in the championship, however if we end up signing a keeper that’s roughly the same level as Hogarth then there’s benefit to the monthly rotation in that if one of them gets injured or suspended you’re not having to bring in a player that completely lacks match sharpness.
Harry Stone is a better goalie than both of them. If it is him then that’s another excellent addition.

Getting a few messages asking about tickets for Saturday, pity we didn’t keep another section open as going by other sites, quite a few fans scrambling for tickets. Appreciate the club need to keep an allocated amount for away fans, couldn’t we have left another few hundred seats available?
If anyone doesn’t have a ticket then the blame lies with them not the club. The games been on sale for weeks.

Season ticket renewed and £60 straight into John McGlynn’s hip pocket. Spend it wisely ya big sexy devil.

He certainly has a great ability to tap in a goal from a a few inches, that is for certain. A goal is a goal so I'm not being sarcastic, evey one counts. I see him as a good sub, not as our central striker.
If I am on the fence about MacIver, then my brother certainly isn't. He has seen him play about 6 times this season and he is fairly scathing about him. He doesn't see a footballer there - no dribbling and swerving as you would expect from a striker, no great ball control, no rushing past defenders. He just sees a slightly akward, not very athletic guy. I don't know what Ross has done to him, but I don't agree with my brother.
But it is interesting how someone with no horse in the race can see that.Holy f**k. If you can’t see the job that McIver does for our team then footballs not for you. Dribbling and swerving

Our third 5:30 kick off in a row, a meaningless game that’s on TV and we outnumber the home support by at least 3-1. All while we’ve been forking out on champions merchandise and champions parties yet this clown Tunbridge tries to have a go at our crowd. There’s a time when you need to take your medicine, maybe this is it.
Also that was another shagging and Dylan Tait hates the Accies.
You’ve seen the champions now f**k off home

You never know regarding Yeats; there’s plenty of time for him to sign an extension
There is time but I think the more time that passes the more unlikely it is that he will re-sign. I’m hearing talk of Notts County being his likely destination.

Brilliant business getting Spencer on an extension .
I think Finn is likely to move on but I’d be doing everything I can to get Dylan Tait and Ethan Ross signed up from the current crop. After that I’d be excited to see McGlynn recruitment

With respect, f**k that. I’m going to revel in this until August and that includes getting it up any of the clowns that contributed to the mess we were in.

What a fucking day. We’ve got our club back and it feels so fucking good.
A rendition of Allez, Allez, Allez, Oh with the Chief Exec in the kebab shop at the end of the night just seemed like the perfect way for it to end

And then, for the final game of the season, a now doubt showpiece occasion with all that that will entail, our contracted goalkeeper will find himself dumped back on to the bench in favour of someone who will be on the way back to England a few days later.
Mate nobody actually gives a f**k. Not even the 2 goalies themselves. Everyone is aware of the situation and everyone is quite happy it so please stop getting upset about a nothing situation.
Try and enjoy tomorrow no matter what goalie is playing. These days don’t come around often.

I hope you are right and I would be delighted to be wrong. Most sensible players would never move to Linfield so I don't think that's a good example. But we'll just have to wait and see. I'm not saying Callumn is only in it for the money, but when it is your only career, he needs to think of his family first. No-one would hold that against him. Let's just wait and see.
If Morrison was going to go in the summer he would t have signed a new deal. He’s given all the power back to the club in regards to deciding his future and will have put off many clubs who may have taken him on a free but won’t/can’t pay a fee for him. He’ll stay so you can chill out on that one

Stupid thing to be doing when he’ll be playing for Hamilton soon.
If Hamilton are still serious about signing our best players they should also be looking at the boy Tait…

There will be about 6 teams who fancy they could win the league next season and we should absolutely be 1 of them. f**k all this ‘aiming for top 4.’ Aim to win the league and see where it takes us. There’s no reason we should be running scared of Livi, Airdrie, Morton or either of the Fife c***s. Bring them on
