  1. It seems the majority of the negative comments are from people who weren’t at the game. A calamity each from the 2 biggest clowns on the park (the ref and Brad McKay) cost us and we had absolutely no luck with the 2 headers off the post/bar.

Our biggest failing is that Brad McKay is not spending his Saturday afternoons in the stand or in TK Max with his Mrs. Hopeless, arrogant b*****d.

A statement goes out and then we all make up our minds as to what it means . Some err on the negative some the positive. When it's off field stuff I'd rather get a bit more info first from the folk involved first.  I thought we might have to wait till the meeting for this but Kevin James left knee has painted the picture of how things stand and questions do need to be asked regarding the current situation. The bod need to make it clear why the plans have changed re the extra shares being purchased.

Thanks but my point still stands 👍🏻

I’m starting to find a lot of these comments really irritating.
We have a new board that some on here are mates with so let’s just let them get on with it irrespective of whether they are acting in the best interests of those that are willing to part with their hard earned cash each week to support their objectives. Is that what we are all just to do now?
Never mind,  we beat Annan Athletic on Saturday so the world is all ok….FFS……

I don’t think the comment had anything to do with who knows the new board and who knows the old board. It was more to do with the fact our fans will literally argue with each other over the colour of grass (or astroturf pellets).

  4. After a pretty boring first half there was actually a lot to be pleased about today:

3 points, 3 goals and a clean sheet

Correct team selection from the manager (forced or not)

All our summer signings are an improvement on last season

Finn Yeats at RB and in midfield

My personal highlight is that Pedro hasn’t been able to complain about Nesbitt’s contract extension for the 105 consecutive day 🙌🏻

  5. We were definitely in for Tumilty. Is it a possibility that after failing to get him McGlynn felt Finn Yates is a better option  than the others available so spent the budget on Spencer and Lang?
It’s also an option that we’ll bring a right back in on loan. It’s also an option that he fucked it and we’ll all believe what we want to believe depending on our opinion of McGlynn.

Is there potential to can the B team for example and get some of these players out on loan instead? Even if there is no wage saving, there will presumably be travel and coaching costs etc that could be saved.

Utter nonsense…again. Tony Begg will still be in post if we have the B team or not. The B team is the platform for guys like Carroll and Honeyman to try and make an impact on the first team. The B team provides a place for players out injured to get back up to speed before returning to the first team.

Do you honestly think we’ll get a right back for the cost of a couple of coach hires?

No. We played, boring, sideways, ponderous, tippy-tappy, ineffective football. Sack the manager.

You are a joke. You are perfectly entitled to your opinion on McGlynn and you may even be proved right at some point but to make comments on a game you haven’t even seen is pathetic. Take a day off will you

  8. I like Leon McCann but I do think McGlynn was waiting on a chance to play Mackie at the start of last season. Fair play to Leon, his performances meant that opportunity never arose.
However I would say that Leon’s performances dropped like everyone else at the end of the season and the jersey is probably up for grabs again. Be interesting to see who starts the first league game.

Trying to be realistic with the situation we are faced with, and appreciate your take on who’s came in. Yes haven’t a Fckn scubie how the season will pan out, but sincerely hope we get top spot. My issue is that we’ve shopped predominantly in the safe houses for players that are arguably better or are some have posted “upgrades” that will get us promoted. My concern is that for the past few seasons there’s been so many of these so called better players who have been nothing short of average, and when the pressure is on we’ve shat one.

I think you are tying yourself in knots now. What are you actually suggesting? We should be signing players we don’t think are upgrades in the hope that might work?

  10. That’s the drum been confirmed. At least it gives some people something else to complain about after a good performance.

    Website ✅

    Pies ✅

    Nesbitt contract extension ✅

    Oliver contract extension ✅

    Drum ✅

If I’ve missed anything then please add and feel free to use these options when the performance on the pitch leaves you with little to moan about.

  11. I’m not getting the argument that if McGlynn fails it’s the boards fault. The board have improved every aspect of the club over a short space of time. If McGlynn fails then that’s on McGlynn not the board.

f**k me if clubs changed owners every time they appointed a manager who didn’t produce they’d be changing ownership every season.

Has anyone also considered the fact that McGlynn might not actually fail this season or is that way too positive?
