  1. Shite shirts & supposed good banter. As a player he will run in a straight line until he either runs into someone or gets far enough up the park to cross the ball into the stand behind the goal. Tries hard tho.
  2. Well this is pish. What a waste of a day. Thanks tho.
  3. Any of the in the know crew able to give a wee heads up as to when we might expect some sort of announcement? This constant refreshing of Twitter is getting a bit boring.
  4. Snedden has been signed for the future. I can’t see him being considered this season and time will tell whether he ever reaches the first team. I suppose that will come down to how much he develops playing full time. However this is absolute nonsense. He was in the Camelon first team squad and he left Stirling to go there and experience “men’s football”, he wasn’t kicked out of Stirling. A decision that appears to have done him good. If you are going to have a go at a young player trying to make his way in the game at least get your facts right.
  5. For me Dixon is a certainty and I think Connolly and Hall have shown enough to be kept on. Durnan will be an interesting one. The biggest disappointment is Telfer. As a footballer, he is better than most on the list of ‘maybes’ which makes the fact he is a massive shite house who is anonymous most weeks even more frustrating. I wonder if he’ll go part time and concentrate on the career in law?
  6. Where did you get the figures? I’ve not seen them quoted anywhere.
  7. Season tickets flying off the shelf and we haven’t even announced Dowds yet. Shadwell must be raging...
  8. Feel like Dowds is getting unnecessary criticism here. He’s a young guy with decent potential and is very highly rated at his current club who play in the same division as us. Yes we’ve fallen from a great height but it’s not Dowds fault. This is the level we are at and I’d much rather a young up and coming player than the journeymen we’ve endured in recent seasons. He might do well, he might not but surely we give him a chance.
  9. Apologies if I’ve just missed this but when will season tickets be available to buy?
  10. as long as he tries to have more shots with his weak foot then that’ll do me
  11. it’s not him . The young boy Sneddon. Decent potential by all accounts but whether he is able to make the step up remains to be seen.
  12. Totally. We are signing the young left back from Camelon. I assume that would mean an extension for Dixon as he wouldn’t be signed to go straight into the first team. Not sure who else is coming in but will be interesting to see.
  13. The bit that gets me is in the last few years we seem to have endless supplies of money to bring in managers, sign as many players as we want, pay them all off, sack the manager and repeat. Even now as we face a 2nd season in the pits and the prospect of playing in empty stadiums, money seems to be no object. How come in the years we were challenging for promotion all we heard was excuses about budgets? Where was the money then? Its quite clear we were happy to stand still. “If you stand still, you go backwards...”
  14. Take the caps lock off Michael. If you think today is the end of this saga then you’re deluded.
  15. Not sure why that is relevant. Beating us doesn’t win you the league pal. Would Clyde be more or less likely to win a league that didn’t include us, Raith, Thistle, Airdrie...
  16. I don’t get it? Did you mean to post the same picture twice?
  17. Dundee shouting about losing £4million then considering changing their mind?? Wonder what’s changed
  18. So you were glad to be in league two this season with a chance to win it rather than the championship? Very different mate. I’d rather be in the Championship - a higher division. You face the prospect of being in the 3rd league whatever happens. My question is, would you rather be in the 3rd league with a chance of winning it and being promoted? Or be in the 3rd league with no chance of winning it but have increased revenue from having bigger clubs in the league? Not a dig, genuine intrigue as to what people feel is a priority.
  19. Maybe we don’t deserve to be promoted. However as I stated, my preference would be for leagues to be reconstructed. If that happens to be 3 leagues of 14 then 2nd in this shit tip of a league is enough to see us into the second group of 14.
  20. Ok so would you rather be in the third tear and have a chance of winning it or be in the third tear with no chance of winning it but have Falkirk and Thistle bringing big away supports? Genuinely intrigued by this.
  21. Feel free to show your posts about league reconstruction from before your club were relegated. Why?
  22. They deserve to be? They are 7th, 8th and 9th in the worst league I’ve ever had the displeasure of watching.
  23. Yes I’d be in favour of this proposal. League reconstruction has been needed for a long time.
