  1. You’ve lost me. They put Rangers in the bottom division because some fans made them?? If the fans had a voice we’d have a 16 team top league, tonight’s cup and the league cup wouldn’t have been messed about with and we’d have a fair playoff system. The big teams look after the big teams I’m afraid and whether the was 17 or 1700 there tonight matters not one bit
  2. I didn’t get one. Too many people in the ground before me unfortunately
  3. If they want the Colts teams in the league they’ll do it. Since when have they started listening to the fans?
  4. What exactly are you trying? They will do what they want when they want. Our attendance tonight will have no bearing on anything
  5. Do you actually think going/not going to the game is going to mean anything to Neil Doncaster and the SFA? You’re not that important I’m afraid but keep convincing yourself that your gona somehow change the future of Scottish football by not attending a first round fixture in Scotland’s smallest competition
  6. Neil Doncaster will get paid at the end of the month whether we turn up tonight or not. If the clowns running our game decide to put Colts teams in the league they will do it whether we turn up tonight or not. Im not convinced Neil Doncaster will have any idea how many are at tonight’s game but I am convinced he won’t give a f*ck. As harsh as it might sound we have no control over anything that happens so put your super hero pants away and enjoy your biscuit. COYB.
  7. With all due respect MrDust have you had a liquid lunch or something today? If it’s not extremely boring stories about Leeds it’s this even more boring Celtic tripe. We won 6-0 today
  8. Has your private detective come up with anything substantial yet?
  9. 1. I’m not comparing the people. You said that foreign investors with no affiliation to clubs don’t just put money into them. I’m saying they do and gave you evidence to back that up 2. If Campbell has the money he claims (no one knows if he does or not) then what he needs to put into us is a peanuts. He’ll basically be spending the interest on his cash, a bit like a billionaire chucking about a few hundred million. It’s all relative my friend. Have a good day
  10. Ok so please enlighten me as to what you think his plan is once he paid the peanuts to buy them out? Sell the stadium we don’t own? Cash in the youngsters we don’t have? Alienate the fans? Get us relegated? Im genuinely intrigued as to what you think his intentions might be?
  11. The statement tells us nothing and the story in the Sun tells us nothing. We’ve had days of people complaining they can’t find any info about Campbell anywhere and by all accounts he passed the EFL DD test but yet KJ manages to uncover some ‘potential concerns’. What is KJ’s experience in private investigation? Even this Toronto guy has come up with nothing substantial and they paid someone to look for dirt. My head hurts.
  12. The only question mark for me is whether it’ll be Gomis or McShane but think he’ll go Gomis. The rest picks itself IMO. Bell Doyle, Buchanan, Durnan, Dixon Tidser, Gomis, Telfer, Connolly McManus, Sammon 4-4-2 Diamond
  13. No he’s throwing all his money at Lawrence Shankland instead. What’s a better long term investment, a hotel in the central belt beside a tourist attraction or Lawrence Shankland. Why are they stupid comparisons? You said people with no affiliation to clubs don’t just throw money at them, I’m pointing out that they do.
  14. Craig Whyte bought Rangers for £1. He didn’t need to have the money, he just pretended he did. Do you think Lex n co are leaving their seats for £1. Campbell needs to have the cash to buy them out or this dies in 2 weeks and everything has been pointless. Proper DD will be done whether ‘Honk Van Hell’ raises their concerns on P&B or not. None of us know if this guy is the real deal or not and we won’t until he’s in the chair but if he passes DD then surely it’s a risk worth taking?
  15. Are the Americans at Dundee Utd going to make profit? The guy at Hibs? Roman Abramovich? The Sheiks at Man City? Everywhere you look there are people putting money into football clubs they have no affiliation to with very little chance of a positive return but there’s no way that can happen to us is there. If he has the money that’s been quoted then this isn’t a big risk for him and he can come out it with a hotel and who knows what else around the ground.
  16. It’s all getting a bit repetitive. If he doesn’t have the money he won’t get the keys as the MSG will not be going anywhere until their pockets have been lined. Nobody knows if he’ll keep his promises if/when he takes over but he’ll have to go some to be worse than the current regime. If he is true to his word then things are going to get pretty exciting.
  17. Some good questions. If you are on Twitter you could maybe ask him cos I doubt anyone on here has the answers.
  18. We seem to be considering every consequence apart from the one where this actually works and has been what we’ve all been waiting for
  19. £10-£15million is a complete guess so why make that up? Why are we suddenly the only club that the owner needs to make a profit? How much profit has any other owner of any other club made? If he’s true to his word then we are going places and he’ll have plenty opportunity to make some money back. If he’s not then he’ll struggle to get in the door.
  20. Ok I present to you 2 businesses. Business 1 is in the 3rd tier of Scottish football, has a half finished stadium that it doesn’t fully own, boycotting fans and no functioning youth academy to generate income. Business 2 is the 6th best club in the country, owns a fully finished stadium with hotel attached and a successful academy. Which business is more valuable? I appreciate there’s a lot of big IF’s and a massive amount to be done to get anywhere near where he’s talking about but if he’s successful his business is surely now much more valuable?
  21. What are you expecting to see? Also, my understanding is that in a lot of cases with bigger clubs you buy the club for a nominal fee (£1, £10) but agree to take on the millions of pounds of debt. Therefore Craig Whyte et al can tell all the stories they want about how much money they’ve got and gain control of the club. In this instance he is attempting to buy out 6 people who won’t go anywhere until they have had their pockets lined. Without any money this is dead in the water in a fortnight. Why bother?
  22. Are we not in danger of over thinking this. Business man buys a business at it lowest point in 40 years knowing the likelihood is the only way is up. Businessman with experience in real estate uses this experience to complete the stadium, improve infrastructure and build hotel. Businessman employs person with a great football reputation to oversee football matters. Objectives - team improve, facilities improve, more people come to watch, hotel generates income. End result - businessman and football club both benefit from achieving objectives.
